  1. Well, why not drop Tekkit Lite? If they continued with Tekkit Lite, it would be the exact same thing as current Tekkit, without IC2 and RP2 and all, it would just still be called "Tekkit Lite". You're making a fuss over labels. Honestly.
  2. Ah, Pulverized Shiny Metal. Can be used to create Shiny Ingots. There's a 10% chance to get that dust when pulverizing Ferrous Ore. Nothing to do with Nether Ores or Iridium, I'm afraid. They can be used to make Platinum Range upgrades for MineFactory Reloaded. It increases the range of the Harvester, Planter, Sewage Collector and Fertilizer to 18x18 instead of 3x3. They are also used in making an Energetic Infuser. But that's pretty much it.
  3. Yes. Notch had a pretty solid game going during Minecraft 1.7.3, but then he got bored, added 500 unfinished features and promptly left the Minecraft team, leaving Jeb to clean up the mess. One of those features was the "new" and extremely bland world generator.
  4. There's no iridium in the TE config, I think. I'm not sure which light blue dust you mean, but you could always hover your mouse over it and press R to see how to make it.
  5. What difference would it make if they still supported Tekkit Lite? If they updated Tekkit Lite to 1.5.2, IC2 and RP2 would still be gone because there's no official release of either yet.
  6. Ah, you probably saw the Nether Ore for Iridium in NEI or Creative. It's there for compatibility, nothing more. It doesn't spawn since there's no IC2. But if you do have IC2 installed, I believe it spawns anywhere, but the chance is extremely low.
  7. You ignoring all arguments =/= Us not giving any arguments. You're not buying anything. You have no right to complain over something that's completely FREE. Would you rather have them not update anything at all, ever again?
  8. Yeah, that's true. I forgot about Lava existing in the overworld and all. And it's not exactly rare due to Notch adding cavespam and then quitting, leaving Jeb unable to fix it.
  9. I think "You're a moron" is a pretty solid argument in this case.
  10. Probably not going to happen, if you know what Slowpoke is like.
  11. Another source of power. And no going to the Nether required.
  12. You're not entitled to anything. You should be glad they're doing all this work, for free even. They haven't gone back to the "old" Tekkit at all. Just because it has the same name doesn't mean the content is the same. Tekkit Classic and Tekkit Lite are still there, if you want them.
  13. Nope. Not sure what you mean, though. You can use a Crescent Hammer on a Liquiduct next to a tank, for example, and it will go into Extraction Mode. When powered by Redstone, the Liquiduct will extract liquid from the tank.
  14. They're fine. But as an alternative, you could try Liquiducts. They don't attach to other Liquiducts with fluids in them, though. You have to use an OmniWrench or Crescent Hammer to make them attach. Or you could lay down the liquiducts in reverse. Attach the pipe to the output and then go towards the input.
  15. Now that you mention it, I haven't heard any music either. Maybe it's a coincidence and we're both going mad.
  16. Are you sure you have the 1.4.7 version of Galacticraft?
  17. Wiki is slowly but surely coming along, though.
  18. I'd suggest you post a bug report with screenshots.
  19. This is pretty good. I always thought the game lacked a player-only pressure plate. Now we can have automatic doors without our houses becoming infested!
  20. Minecraft.jar is directly downloaded from Mojang's official repository. It's 100% legal. Modpack.jar contains all the mods, so minecraft.jar isn't actually being redistributed.
  21. Dropbox is pretty good, but you'll have to enable Public Folder. If you don't want to waste your precious space, you could always make a new account and only login to it through the web, and upload your stuff via the browser.
  22. I'm getting the feeling this might be intended.
  23. Have you tried one of the bigger modpacks featured on the front page? If those don't work, then you know for sure it's a problem on your end. If the featured modpacks do work, then the creators of the modpacks you've tried probably haven't tested their pack at all.
  24. Well, it would certainly help if you posted the error to pastebin and gave a link. Probably some ID conflict.
  25. Well, since it's Tekkit Classic, a lot of things will be missing. IC2 stuff will be missing, EE2 and RP2 stuff will be missing, and in the end, it's just not worth it.
