  1. Try allocating a little less RAM to your server. 3GB should be plenty unless you have 8 players or more.
  2. If that's where the higher voltage is coming from, then yes.
  3. If Energy Links aren't in the version you use, then try Pneumatic Generators.
  4. Damage it. That means punch it, slap it with a tool or sword, set it on fire with a laser, fire an arrow at it, fire a Blunderbuss in its face, and basically anything else.
  5. I made a useless system just now. It's a duplicator with a stack of Diamonds in it. I pump infinite diamonds out of the thing with Buildcraft (RP isn't in Technic for Minecraft 1.4.2 yet), and send them all into a void pipe. I power the thing with an Electrical Engine running entirely off of one MV Array.
  6. I wonder if there is an easier way to make single player mods compatible with multiplayer without needing a separate version. I mean, Technic. It works fine WITH the mods if you open it to LAN. Even stuff like Mystcraft works perfectly Multiplayer. So isn't there some way to host a Technic server which is open to the internet?
  7. It's always the cousin. Of course, it's totally not the OP's fault, which is obviously why he doesn't describe it pretty detailed for a "cousin" to have done it. Just delete the file where your controls are stored or something.
  8. I hope you were planning on doing that in a new world. Might as well not use RP and BC at all apart from maybe the tubes when you're already in pseudo-Creative.

  10. Ah, I thought you meant that "Hello World" was literally FML's screen, but mine only shows "Hello". At least it works now. A bit slowly, but it works.

  12. Yes, I have. It didn't work. I solved the problem by downloading the Technic Launcher executable instead of the .jar. The "hello" window still appears, but Minecraft actually loads now.
  13. Not sure what FML is, but it's a window titled "Hello". There's no content in the window. It goes away quickly, but it seems the launcher has trouble starting Minecraft properly. Maybe a rogue mod or an incorrect patch. Probably an incorrect patch, since this particular version of Technic worked before 1.4.4 came out.

  15. This is the exact same problem as everyone else has, if you read the log.
  16. Surely you're not so ignorant that you can't remember that there's no 1.4.4 patches to anything other than 1.2.5, which is why Technic dev builds don't work at all?
  17. Try setting a World Anchor down. The pipes might get partially unloaded when further away, causing the items to spill on the ground.
  18. There's either Electric Engines or Energy Links in Tekkit already. Just hook up a Batbox (Not more, or it will suck up all your EU and only use about 32 EU/t) to an Energy Link with conductive pipes or a BC machine on the other side.
  19. Pro tip: Make your own decisions, not copy the Yogscast. Always backup worlds. I think you chose a newer build which does not have RedPower yet. How did you even get the latest builds to work? Mine fails to update because there's no patch.
  20. It's "the" bug. You know, the one which makes Technic completely unplayable for new users and has not been fixed yet, making me unable to play Technic, only Tekkit. It's missing a 1.4.4-1.4.2 patch. Seriously, where are the devs? D:
