  1. It's not. There was this guy who was able to draw an Energy Condenser full of Red Matter on a Buildcraft blueprint. He then fed the blueprint to a Builder which was stocked with an empty Energy Condenser, and the Builder promptly put down an Energy Condenser full of Red Matter for the price of one empty Energy Condenser. Automate that, and voila. You've got yourself one hell of an exploit. (1 Billion EMC/minute)
  2. You don't have a proper path to Java. You need to edit run.bat yourself. Try this to run the server: "(path to java.exe)" -jar "(path to the server jar)" -Xms2G -Xmx3G.
  3. Finally, the root of the issue. It's the 1.4.4-1.4.2 patch not being present. Add it, and it will be fine.
  4. Try disabling ConvenientInventory and/or InventoryTweaks (CI annoys the hell out of me because you can't disable it).
  5. It seems you might be missing ModLoader. Do you have the correct server version of Mo' Creatures?
  6. Launcher Version: 1.0.1.3 Operating System: Windows 7 Professional x64 Java Version: 1.7.0_14 Antivirus Program: Microsoft Security Essentials Description of Problem: Technic crashes with "Update failed!" right when finishing downloading Minecraft.jar. Others are suffering from the same issue, and it's making Technic literally unplayable. I believe this is caused by Minecraft now being 1.4.4, but no proper downgrade patcher being present. 7. Yeah, Technic will just ignore whatever is in the cache completely. No way to force it unless you can somehow redirect wherever Technic is getting its minecaft.jar to the link I posted earlier.
  8. Same problem. Really annoying. I think it's because Technic is on version 1.4.2, and the newest Minecraft version is 1.4.4. So they need to include the downgrader as well. EDIT: It seems downgrading is no longer necessary, as Mojang apparently keeps their files now. Link: http://assets.minecraft.net/1_4_2/minecraft.jar All that needs to be done is reference minecraft.jar to that link instead of the latest version.
  9. I have very low FPS in the Nether. I think it's caused by Nether Ores.
  10. Something else is probably using the port already. Try stopping the server, and then ending all java processes, you might have something stuck.
  11. You probably hacked your way in. Want to disprove that claim? Then do tell us how you got in. Otherwise, I'm just going to assume you hacked or lagged your way in.
  12. Nice video, but I do have a few things to note. 1: You're using EE. You might as well skip the reactor entirely and condense lava cells to be fed in Geothermal Generators. 2: Please use default texture pack when making tutorials as it makes things a thousand times easier.
  13. Ah, so you actually have to manually phase shift another device as well. I see.
  14. So what exactly is the purpose of phase shifting a frequency? If I set a frequency to the red spectrum, using that frequency elsewhere will automatically make it red. Is it just a visual color change, or what?
  15. Do you have a 64-Bit OS? If not, then you're trying to allocate more than 1,5 GB of RAM to the server, which is impossible on a 32 Bit OS.
  16. Cells are very wonky for picking up water and lava. Try using Buckets instead.
  17. Collectors might return later in a less OP form, and Condensers will probably return. EE3 will probably be more about transmutation and less about free shit forever.
  18. Try to see if you can somehow change the extension to .scr or .com.
  19. True, but once you have one, you tend to get lazy. It's a fact. Maybe it would be more fun to have the Mass Fabricator ONLY run when there's scrap, and it would still take 1 Million EU to make 1 UU-Matter. People would still eventually end up in the same scenario, but it wouldn't be as quick and as game-spoiling.
  20. Make the Energy Link powered by a Batbox. It will only actually use about 48 EU/t max (Quarries will run at full speed with 32 EU/t), but it will draw whatever power it can.
  21. Try and get the entire server files off of that host and get a new one. Any decent host will provide you with FTP access and perhaps a remote console.
  22. If you play over LAN and you actually use the LAN IP to connect, it should be fine. I don't think Minecraft sends a whole lot of data, though. Maybe you'll be through 1 GB in about one week of intensive playtime.
  23. You need to find the block's ID itself. Cables are items when held. Just like there's a difference between cakes and cake blocks.
  24. Ooh, looks like someone's mad we saw through that obvious trick.
  25. Yeah, no one had issues with it. Sure. Apart from just about everyone who wants to game on his PC, including the original poster. And I haven't used Windows 8 for an extended period of time because nothing worked on it, so I switched back. Just because YOU had no issues doesn't mean no one does.
