  1. We will try to remain as unbiased as possible and welcome any criticism. I believe things like this work better if you can just see the info on the forum. Not nearly as many people would read it if it was in a pdf. Maybe we will change the format after doing it awhile.

  4. Yes we did. But this update is radically different from previous ones due to the combining of ssp and smp. Its going to take longer than normal to get all the mods updated.

  7. Your in luck. I am planning on doing just such a thing. But, for a mod to be in tekkit, 2 things have to happen to it. It has to be updated to 1.3.2 AND it has to be ported to bukkit. Some of the mods are updated to 1.3.2, but the mod version of bukkit, craftbukkit, is not updated. So there would be nothing to put on the list since none of the mods are ready. Here's the page where craftbukkit for 1.3.2 will be. http://mcportcentral.co.za/wiki/index.php?title=Ports_for_1.3.2 Note: More and more of the mods are updated to 1.3.2 and craftbukkit is taking a long time to update. If this continues for more than a few more days ill go ahead and make a thread anyway.

  15. Cept the moderators on here don't want to do that. So they won't. I actually plan on doing something like this soon. But I'm waiting for craftbukkit to update to 1.3.2. Without that none of the mods can be ported, so a list is kindof useless.
  16. No no no, I think we are misunderstanding him here. I think this is secret code that actually explains WHEN tekkit will release. It is cleverly disguised as a question so only smart people can figure it out. This is just part of the disguise, he's not really trying to ask a question. See how he points out "Tekkit 1.4", everybody knows tekkit is on version 3.x, if he was really asking when it would release, he would ask for tekkit 4.x. I think he is trying to say something about 1.4. 1.4 weeks? 1.4 months? maybe, just maybe, he is saying that tekkit wont update until MC 1.4. Notice "It will be relase", once again he is emphasizing that he is informing us of the release, not asking about it. Please, let the other great minds on the forum weigh in on this secret code.

  19. Try backing up your saves and then delete and redownload your .techniclauncher folder.
  20. Just an idea, try deleting the RedstoneEther folders from your world folders.
  21. Did you do it from the console? That's what you would get if you tried to do it in game.
  22. Unlike pipes, items in tubes go to the closest destination. If you want them to split evenly you need to make the two destinations the same distance away. Or use some other trick, there are a lot of ways to use tubes, but it is totally worth figuring it out.
  23. Try pressing o, that's the default key that hides NEI.
  24. I agree that people can play the game how they want, and that none of this will change whether it is in the mod pack or not. But, I happen to enjoy a good debate, and this is as good a topic as ever. There seem to be an endless flow of people who think I'm wrong, and that makes it worth debating. (Note: Debating whether, and how, EE is OP, not whether it should be removed from the pack)
  25. Well, frames work be converting all the attached blocks into an entity and moving it, then turning it back into blocks. If its big, it could might take some bandwidth. But if you just have a door that is one set of frames and moves in one direction, I don't see how it could be such a big problem. What kind of circuitry do you have controlling it? It shouldn't be too hard to just have a circuit that waits for a pulse from a wireless receiver. If you want I would be glad to come on your server and help troubleshoot.
