The weirdest is really that the launcher vanilla doesn't work either. At least it means that it isn't a problem caused by a mod. You could always installing 51 mods on your vanilla MC...

You tried deleting the techniclauncher folder, did you try downloading a new version of the launcher itself? If you have, I'm getting a little stuck there. :/

Not really, since to be legal, the launcher always has to check your account information.

Do the sounds work with the other modpacks and launcher vanilla?

It's banned on most servers, but it's only because it is a powerful replacement to a collector. It isn't glitchy, and can't spill since it uses RP tubes most of the time.
