Allocating too much RAM is just as bad, if not worse as allocating not enough. Imagine you have space ship that uses a molecule plasma inducing device to propel itself (That's every program that isn't Technic). In the ship, you also have a toaster (That's Technic). In the first situation, you're giving 1 joule of energy to the toaster, and 999999,999999 mega joules of energy to the plasma inducing engine. Well damn, the engine is working, but the toaster won't toast. That's when you were giving too little RAM. In the second situation, you decide to allocate all your 1000000 mega joules of energy to the toaster, and naught to the plasmic device. The toaster exploded, but that's not the worst. Because the energy suddenly stopped to come, the plasmizer couldn't shutdown properly and nor support its anti-matter containment field and collapsed on itself at the speed of light, creating a thermonuclear reaction that annihilated the solar system! Basically, that's what you're doing by allocating all your RAM to Technic. Now, what you want to do is give a few hundred joules of energy to the toaster, about 200 and give the 999999,9998 mega joules left to the plasmalizer, which is plenty enough to keep it safe. In other words, allocate 2-4 GB of RAM to Technic, depending on your total RAM. TL;DR, just read the damn thing.

Uh. If you think piloting a zeppelin is hard, I recommend you not to ever get close to a frame airship.

Could you post a link to this "vechicals" mod? Searching it on Google doesn't give anything. Also, a mod pack with only three mods isn't really a modpack.

It works for all vanilla tools and weapons, and also adds shields.

We don't know when it'll come out. But it'll certainly be faster if you make ten other threads like this one, without forgetting to sign your name at the end of the post. You could also try writing in ALL-CAPS, so they work even harder.

Well, technically, all we'd have to do is have the system make checks about the state of a block compared to the ground. For example, on the first tick, the tree is complete, it touches the ground. But on the second, the player has broken one of the logs. The system detects the upper part of the tree isn't touching any other blocks, and if it isn't, the whole thing becomes an entity and starts falling. Then, you'd have to make some physic-ish stuffso the way the entity falls seems legit,and once it's settled, it becomes block back. Sure, it would be pretty complicated, but not really impossible at all if you ask me. It uses some principles from zeppelin, actually.

Actually, the power converters really do the exact same thing as this mod you want. It even got a lava fabricator in extra.

You just have to install it. But to be honest, you really don't need it at all, power converters is already in Tekkit, and does everything that Crossover does.

Oh you're right, sorry for the confusion. But to be honest, if you have a small taint sucker setup, you can easily use the teleport seals without having to worry about anything.

Teleport tethers can teleport you, but they're stupidly hungry in energy, such a distance if far beyond their limits anyway. I think Thaumcarft has teleport seals, but they produce some taint, so you'd have to lookout so you don't infect your place. Also, what I do nowadays : A long, straight road 3 or four blocks large made out of ice. I use it as a highway for my quantum suit. I think a quantum suit sprinting on ice is the fastest your character can go in technic.

Meh, Nukes kill everything anyway, I don't see why it would be that much worse if there was radiation as a bonus.

Now, replace each condenser with a customized farm, and come back to get some actual bragging rights (Which you don't really have now).

I think he meant it more as a substance physically alike sticky resin, some sort of "Radioactive goo" that has a damaging area of effect. This does sound neat, a bit of fallout would make nuclear engineering much funnier.

AVG didn't even want to hear about Technic, so it wouldn't have surprised me if it was the problem, but I'm using MSE, and it never gave me any problems or false positives, not with Technic, or anything else. -

About the space ships, I think the redpower frames would be the coolest way to do it. Properly done, frames airships can be extremely cool.
