Metadata is simply a text file that some mod creators include with their mod. this text file can be read by Forge, and it will then display a brief description of the mod. It has absolutely zero effect on gameplay and has caused exactly 0 solutions.

That isn't the right log. Read the sticky and it will tell you where to find the correct log.

If you have a similar problem, you should post your own bug report.

Just move far enough away that the chunk becomes frozen and develop your research there. Then you can move back and use the new research to cleanse the taint once and for all.

Now they will be fumbling around with the similar mods included in the FTB pack. I fail to see how this is different. If you watch them, you will hardly notice a change.

And even if they did leave, I say again... Who cares? How does that affect us?

Why should we care if Tekkit/Technic becomes less popular? How will that in anyway affect us?
