The issue isn't with NVidia cards in general, it is that NVidia cards, when used with Technic, can cause massive lag unless some settings are changed (I don't remember which ones but there have been some posts about it around here). Another thing, have you tried deleting/disabling IC2 sounds in the IC2 config file?

Off the top of my head, Crystal chests and NVidia Graphics cards are the most likely culprits.

Right, i forgot that Keller removal could only be done by Admins. What I meant about early removal is that they only removed it before the forum change. (Re-reading I can see why it was confusing). I believe that was because it wasn't a manual system like it is now.

The only time I have seen Devs/Mods remove a Keller early is when people got kellered before the forum changed over. If you got kellered after that, you will likely need to just wait for it to wear off.

Downgrade your Java to version 6 (from Apple)

Logs (if they are the correct one) are always helpful. Also, I am able to install the modpacks just fine. It seems to be only certain users who are having that issue (usually when trying to install the development version)

The YogBox is no longer being updated AFAIK, so don't hold your breath. Anyone with a red name is a developer so yes they do read through the posts.

Fair point, however I would not recommend changing the ID's yourself. Stick to redownloading/clearing cache. Seeing as the ID's should already be formatted correctly, combined with the fact that he is not getting past the Mojang screen, I think it is safe to assume he has an incomplete download.

Changing one id won't help. ID Resolver comes included in the pack and it sorts out all of the block IDs. What that means is that the devs didn't need to reassign the IDs so even if you fixed that one, another would pop up. This issue is almost always caused by a partial/corrupt download. That issue is almost always caused by having a troublesome AV that blocks some of the download without telling you. Turning AVG off and redownloading the pack should fix the issue.
