the immibis buffer is superior to the transposer to obsidian pipe because the items remain in the transport system providing far less lag. as for going into a tube network, i would use the relay instead of the immibis buffer.

bah, quitters pack up and leave....winners go on to battle the taint back and WIN!!!

You're being trolled because you've flamed at anyone posting in this thread that disagreed with your opinion. As to compromising, it is rather foolish of ANYONE to compromise and do something wrong or redundant simply to appease someone else's wishes. As for your suggestion, can you offer ANYTHING for reason to do it beyond "keeping it "in house" ? As for mcbans being too harsh, perhaps you're simply being too lenient. Your OP states "griefing has become a major problem" where exactly are you finding this data? If its a major problem on a server you run, then maybe you need to look at plugins to help fight griefing. As for the rest of your OP, yes you have alot of suggested ONGOING work for admins of servers to utilize your idea and frankly it would fall apart in a week. People by nature want the games they run to be as work free as possible since this is a game and not work.
-
you know, under redundant in the dictionary it says redundant right? As for "to much work", why do something that has already been done by other people and is more than adequately maintained? As for "maintained in house", that's moronic to even mention here since this modpack is about mods not even maintained in house. Do you only drive on the roads where you live that your own city maintains or do you also adventure to those roads maintained by "other cities" ? It's not logical at all. And I don't mean to sound mean here, but frankly your arguments basis is exactly the type of stance I expect from a female. You aren't friends with my soon-to-be-ex-wife are you? She always had this same thought process and would get mad at me for not doing it her way simply because it was there.

i think the problem is the launcher is coded to make the logo appear and be on top of the previous banner flash and window preceding it. The problem of it NOT going away though is inherent to java and how it executes that command. I have other java applications that also make logo's appear and none of them can be "clicked" to the back. so in the end, you're going to have to suck it up for 15 seconds and deal with something we grown ups like to refer to as "patience". I know, that's a fairly difficult concept to master. We however have faith in you.

i will tend to agree that EE has no place on a pvp server. the whole POINT of having it a pvp server is to make the populace battle over the resources. In that regard UU matter would have to go as well. I do not understand though not wanting towny on a pvp server if you have the playerbase to utilize it. I can see with less than a dozen people it hampering more than helping. Towny is an excellent mod provided the configuration of the economy is strong enough to enforce it to the appropriate levels.

are you completely missing the point of the replies? Mcbans does the same f'ing thing. If griefing has become a major issue of YOUR server, deal with it as you see fit. Don't step up to think that no other admins aren't doing all they want to get the level of service they wish to provide already.

so, you fail at...building things in game? And...want a buddy to play with? There's a thread about small scale recruitment over in the tekkit SMP area.
-
then perhaps you should check the common problems and solutions thread.
-
um, tekkit is java...so get whichever version of java works for you. 32bit or 64 bit. both run tekkit fine.

i caught the end of a thread on MCF that has them mentioning doublign the cost of RM stuff but increasing the rate on the Mk3 collectors. They're trying to make RM a better achievement and make DM useful for a period. Something I think EE needs though that Thaum has is the thaum duplicator its a 5x cost increase to make something compared to what you get melting it down to vis. That alone I think would really square EE away in my books.

are you on crack? it's not up to technic to cobble ANYTHING together. If the mod author isn't updating then its not updating simple as that. Some authors I have read are even waiting for the api and won't even bother updating to 1.3.2

is the card fully seated properly in its slot? It looks like an overheating issue really. Bad card? Does it do funky graphics in other applications?
-
that's nice to know now. I guess I shall look at the wiki later and maybe edit some more.

sorry, non-caffenated post. I meant it wouldn't output to tubes. I was trying to fix one end at that time I was trying and never went outside to try it at the other spot.
-
pipe to relay to tube works just fine. I don't know why mine bugged when placed initially, I had it with the proper direction placed as I know which side is the output. The relay requires no redstone, it simply spits out what comes in. As for the immbis buffer, it seems to behave identically to the relay with the same restrictions. No output to pipes.
-
the point of the redpower machines is to BE a chest. I got it working after fighting it all day. First, relays cannot output to BC pipes. They go to eject the item from their inventory and then jam. Same thing happens if they have an item that has no valid tube destination too though. Second, i had to use a screwdriver to spin the other relay 360 before it would wake up and start working ejecting to the tubes. I still don't know what there.
-
I cannot for the life of me get a transition between these two systems to work. I am told the be all end all answer is supposed to be the RP relay box. Which is fine. I have 2 relays at 2 locations both receiving just fine. One from tubes the other from pipes. Neither however is ejecting into the tube/pipe behind them to transition. I have tried blutricity to them as well as redstone pulses. Transposer wont work as it only connects to tubes on its back. Buffer behaves the same as the relay. Ejector would not work for stacks.
