i've failed horribly every time when i try crops. weeds like crazy even with the weedx, the crossbreeds vanishing ( are you supposed to get seeds from them to plant more of that cross? )among many other issues.

there is an appropriate thread with that discussion where you were in fact corrected. Go refresh your memory if need be. My comments in the two youtube videos were merely to get two popular video makers to do some research of their own instead of solely relying upon your word. you seem to have an issue with anyone trying to direct them to do their own research i guess. also, while we're at it, i love how you constantly tell people "you speak with all the mod authors on your teamspeak". First off, to presume that you actually have ALL the mod authors on your teamspeak and to think that they are unanimous in their feelings towards technic. Why don't you share with us who actually you do have, preferably over in the discussion thread. For all we know its you, sengir, and flowerchild and maybe cougar. all of which have been pretty vocal against technic with no intention of logical discussion.

I guess I'll throw this in here and not the other thread since it was mentioned here. In docm77's video where he rambles on about technic's illegality and that he listens to what slowpoke says as gospel he mentions that slowpoke is not only making the FTB pack, but also a custom pack for Docm77 and Monkeyfarm. take from it what you will.

you can "target" desired outcomes by placing them in the center on the right. I've been told you can use anything of the same emc value as well, but I've had little luck with that. Basically that means if you want an iron hoe of emc say 95 and you place an iron axe in there, it should be one of your choices.

first off, wrong section entirely. second "issues with plugins" implies you are having more than one issue with more than one plugin. And yet all I see is one problem with 1 plugin. third, you fail to mention the name of the anti-grief plugin you are using in the first place. where did you read that all plugins should work anyway?

ok, if its in redpower its in technic/tekkit. i wasn't sure if it was in millenaire or not. I believe they are 3x3 though in size. I've tended to find them in plains that were near a jungle.

4x4? aren't those the giant rubberwood trees? Not sure which mod they are tied to, but I dont think they are in technic anymore. thaumcraft has greatwood trees that are 2x2 though with saplings droppable.

so you linked a post on FTB, where FTB fanboi's have IC/MCF flamed and preached, that was made in ANOTHER thread here with logical responses from both sides and evidence and whatnot to refute stupidity in an effort to bridge the gaps between modders and technic staff to this thread that is more or less a rage vent thread on all the technic hate? People looking for unbiased info would read the thread that has posts by the staff here and modders, not a troll thread either this one or on other forums.

actually, that thread is utter troll garbage. Not only do most of the posts just fanboi's stroking and following slowpokes word as gospel the ones trying to provide intelligent research to the thread are completely wrong. On top of that Slowpoke himself is perpetuating the wrong information and intent with those same 2 quotes by kaker. I see no difference between that thread and the anti-technic flame threads from IC forums and MCF.

one thing thats always been a sticking point with me regardless of smp vs ssp is the exploring/expanding aspect and travel. i always say I'll do a train setup and make stations and stops etc...but I never do. i use up whats within easy walking distance and then get frustrated and start a new map.

Actually, i have the really simply solution. There needs to be 2 EMC value lists. Just like Gamestop, items have a sell value in emc and then they have a create/buy value much much higher. Even for vanilla and EE alone I think this would be the best thing added.

honestly, what i'd like to see more is thaumcraft and mystcraft to come along and up the magic anti for the technical side of bc/rp/ic within tekkit. If the rates of collectors and emc values could be tweaked it would more than balance out EE as a magic vs tech battleground.

i remember running the script to set it up all in its own folder and it refused to work. I then ran it in the bukkit server folder I had been running and it worked flawlessly. Even worked with all my mods already there. Go figure. Been running that way for over 6 months now.

I started another ssp world again today after getting a little bit into TC. It got me wondering as I looked at the long list of worlds I have made for technic. How many times have you started over from scratch? Do you start a particular world for a particular goal solely? I made a world the last time expressly for the purpose of learning and mastering EE and using nothing but EE. Yeah, once I had every single thing done I had little drive to stay on that world. My reasoning for restarting this time around midstride with TC is simply location, spacing, and new things I needed for vis that I just didn't have a good fitting into my ugly base. I confess though I did get into turtles as well though to start and have alot better ideas for using them as further reason for a new map. What keeps you motivated to stick with a particular world? Anyway, ramble on good people...

i haven't looked in a while. I mean it took me all of 10 minutes to get the server up and running and I never really mucked with it after. And Upgrades simply drop in over the old .jar It's ok, I'm allowed to be wrong at least once a week :)

i find it funny that people find different parts of EE bad and others good. Condensers- even hard core EE haters seem to use this as a means of dealing with massive quarry waste. Diamonds from "nothing" just as bad as the collector flower powering it. Collectors - money for nothing essentially. Even 1 collector is bad when paired with a condenser. Infinite lava generators for Geothermal? Catalyst ( and later that mace ) - simply lead to wanton destruction. Yes, you can do the same with the mining laser but not as effortlessly. Klein stars - credit card really. removing this solves alot of EE liberalness. It should have an inherent degradation in stored charge really. Coupled with say an emc loss of storing emc as you go up in level. Equipment - the ring/flying is probably the worst as it makes it simply "creative" mode. Relays/transmutations - this is honestly the lowest threat of the whole mod.

Thats funny torezu, it wouldn't function for me in a folder of its own unless I put bukkit in there first and had it functioning beforehand. :/

you have to have a running bukkit server first to run tekkit server on top of it.
