  1. Gregtech purposely drops a few dirt blocks in Technic's pants due to some deliberate code in it. It's better that you don't use it anyways, because you'll end up peffering to break your hands instead as a much more enjoyable alternative.
  2. Okay, grabbed two more tickets for you, Andrew.
  3. Lemme check... Yep, still have an unused Mann Up ticket. Lethosos [DVS] -- Engineer (although I do Demo and Heavy often as well.)
  4. Haven't seen those, but it's not really anything I'm worrying over. I was just being momentarily confused.
  5. Well, yes, but wasn't there a problem in the old Cave ages taking arse to load due to various generation issues?
  6. At least it wasn't the Moesha Virus. That one left a big, shapely black butt on your screen that you can't get rid of. And you have a girlfriend? We thought you were female, so were you lying or did you just come out of the closet? :psyduck:
  7. The more I think about it, the more what I think was done to Cave ages was to use the same world gen code for the Nether. Which would explain the placement of water at y20.
  8. Uh... It was Luke's fault! All his!
  9. Heh, I've encountered this before. It's due to a lack of memory that Java cannot access. I suggest examining how much RAM you have and how much memory you are using outside of Minecraft. Then adjust how much memory you can allocate to Minecraft (up to 4G, but that's not usually recommended.) Alternatively, upgrade to 64-bit Windows 7. The OS can handle larger amounts of RAM than 32-bit Windows 7 can.
  10. I think it was about the legality of bullfish using other peoples' computers as their dormciles.
  11. Well, the initial plan was to go out and corrupt as many people as I can, but that got waylaid along the way. This world is sooooo cool!
  12. Personally, I think BinaryMage needs to improve the age generation better. I've experimented with ages and half the time I get Void ages for no reason despite having at least symbols for biomes/terrain. At least Cave age generation is greatly improved. With a laser rifle it can be an alternative to Dense Ore ages. (I might just spawn a Jungle Cave age just because it's cool.)
  13. Technically I'm evil as well, since I'm supposed to be a golem made by an Eldritch Horror of some sort. Or by Lady Gaga. I can't tell.
  14. If we can get rid of that dependency, then it's not a huge issue. The only thing I have an issue with .NET is that it's Windows-centric. Other than that, the ASP code is pretty sexy for Web-based content.
  15. Should be no depreciatable change to how GUI art is coded in, AFAIK. The way they arranged the texture directory after I used Unsticher on a pre 1.5 texture pack says that they go into a GUI folder.
  16. Someone posted a short tutorial on that on the Forge forums. I don't have the direct link on hand, though.
  17. Fukkin' hell yes. C++ is a far more stable language to run, and running a separate build for Macs is merely selecting a different compiler at run-time. Of course, I can be equally just as happy in C#, since it's the bastard child of Java and C, but this is something Mojang has to decide on their own.
  18. Can you check the code for 1.5 to see if this has not changed by default? I'm not trawling through the changelogs because I'm not in a position to look ATM.
  19. Adding more lets you add more symbols to the Descriptive Book.
  20. So I took the easy one. Big deal, it's 1:20 AM here.
  21. She's not a troll, she's a nereid. Big difference, despite being both of fairy origins.
  22. Luke is hereby banned for being a coward. MAN UP!
  23. I'm fond of Bloodlust Studios and the wierd stuff that got made from there. Can't say it's creepypasta, but it sure loves the blood and mayhem. Timeslaughter is still one of my favorites even though I don't play it anymore.
