It is possible to disable the right click ability of these with TekkitCustomizer or NoItem. However there is currently (as far as I know) no way to stop the 'R' functionality. (Simply give the user group own, craft and hold permissions but not use.)

What do you mean your names have been deleted? (P.S its PermissionsEx by the way ;-) even if your title does sound much better. )

/removenear 166 Should come in handy here.

How to set up a Tekkit server Step-by-step guide [Win 7] [Images]
Djinnii replied to Viderizer's topic in Server Op Swap Shop
I know I'm late into the thread, and I honestly haven't read it all. But I would suggest you recommend people use: http://johann.loefflmann.net/en/software/jarfix/index.html rather than attempt to edit environment variable paths themselves. -
write it into a program, save the program as "startup" (tip: type "edit startup" write your program ctrl save, ctrl exit type: "reboot") Your rules should now appear everytime the computer turns on.

Creeperhost offers amazing VPS' packages with amazing support. Otherwise, I myself am now starting to offer VPS' (actually I bought myself a dedicated server from CreeperHost and decided to sell the rest of the space.) *Link Removed*

Guess it's all about perspective :-) I've played on 3 beastnode servers they were all very laggy lol. It could have been down to bad server operators but yeah... never can tell. All I can say is try it out :-) and find out for yourself. At the end of the day the only person who can really make the decision about whats best for you, is you!

I don't really like bashing other companies... I think it's disrespectful and unprofessional but: I don't think beastnode use VPS' If they did, they'd have much higher overheads and wouldn't be able to offer all those promotions and still make money. (Also by the way: T1 is only: 1.544 megabits per second) But yes, in theroy you could simply upload your current server to wherever your minecraft server should be on their site and it should work, if not it may require a little tweaking to get it to work with multicraft and their port, since they likely don't give you a dedicated IP. (On the other hand... I would give you your own VPS, with full root access and a dedicated IP meaning you don't need to worry about ports again.)

I think you have a corrupt chunk... grab (tekkitrestrict?*) and do /tpic (nolagg might have something similar...) (it's that or a leaky pipe - hopefully its the latter) *Having never needed it, I dont know which plugin gives the /tpic command. But it teleports you to any chunk with more than 200 entities in. and LaggClear really helps keep entities down, you can even set it so it only clears when there are more than a given number of entities in the world.
-
A Xeon core what? And chances are its just some bad builds in your world. Check for EU, Item, Redpower loops etc... Since you don't have LagClear check for the number of entities.
-
You really should get to using Unix then ;-) Much cheaper alternative for the same speed boost ;-) (by much cheaper I do of course mean free...)

Okay, Mind supplying some reasoning? Seems counter intuitive to take a processor clocked 1GHz slower if the servers are more highly populated.
-
Okay, sound pretty sound reasoning... Are you sure that you need an SSD then? Minecraft isn't exactly large... And if your only running the 1 server, you won't notice any real difference between the SSD and the HDD. Most of your stuff will be loaded into RAM anyway. Unless you plan to make it a silent HTPC I don't see a need for a relatively expensive SSD.

10-15 Minecraft servers...

I will potentially have some VPS slots available soon. Feel free to message me for further details.

Hi, I've been thrown a bit of curve ball. I've managed to get a much nicer offer out of CreeperHost (which I would be more than inclined to take) however I'm not really sure which one to take them up on. £95 /month for Chicago/Atlanta 2x L5420 24GB RAM ECC DDR3 2x 1TB HDD 1x 120GB SSD 1IP Unlimited bandwidth ---or--- Dallas 1x E3-1230v2 32GB RAM ECC DDR3 2x 1TB HDD 1x 120GB SSD 1IP Unlimited bandwidth Since I plan to split the server into probably 10 Virtual Servers each running Minecraft/Tekkit/MySQL/Websites/Voice Coms etc...I'm having a hard time choosing between the L5420 and the E3-1230v2

Copy your permission nodes to a new file, Run them through a YAMAL parser/checker to make sure that they are still syntactically correct.

I have to ask first, What exactly are you planning to use the server for? What type of network connection do you have? Are you planning to only use it for personal use, or are you planning to start your own server farm and sell space/services on them? The "impact" each different storage solution will have on your applications will differ depending on what application you plan to use it for. How heavily taxed it is. I'd also ask if your planning to put Windows or *UNIX on it. (Windows will see a much bigger performance benefit from an SSD because its so much less "efficient" than most UNIX distro's. (That doesn't mean you should use windows...) If it really is a server machine, why does your CPU need a built in Graphics Unit? Most of the time, your server shouldn't even need to have a monitor attached. (In fact most of my servers in the past have never had a monitor attached.) I'm just saying... that that particular hardware setup *MIGHT* not be the best you can get for your need.

Could you please paste the full log, from server.log rather than the one from Multicraft? I don't think you NEED to reset the world. It may be as simple as removing the affected region file. Might be worth double checking and loading a clean world to see if it solves the issue.

High network traffic bursts?
-
The latest one *SHOULD* work just fine. It's unlikely that a new version has been released that isn't compatible with this version of minecraft considering it's been designed for Tekkit.
-
First: You need to make sure you are using the CraftBukkit-1.2.5-R4.0 compatible version of CoreProtect. Second: You probably need to install the EEToolsPatch.
-
Few things: What are you looking to run on it? How many players are you looking to host? Are you planning to setup a website and accept donations? Are you planning to pay for this service at some point?
-
Just to add to Axle's post: Make sure you have at least 1 item in each portion of the TekkitCustomizer list. Otherwise it will reset itself to the default ban list.
