Yeah, I always go straight for automated mining as soon as I have a basic setup at my base. With computercraft, it's easy to get started because you can just make a mining turtle and you now have infinite everything.

With 7u11, they've patched it (and apparently changed the default security level so that all java app[lets] are click-to-run).

It's pretty much any Java 7 version that is affected, afaik, not just 7u10.

You're not learning how to fix your problem though! You're just doing something stupid that will end up with you having to trash your entire network setup and start over most likely. If you want to mess around with stuff like this, use virtual machines.

I went for a long time without adblock (I just set Opera to block all pop-ups by default and that took care of the majority of annoying ads) but a certain website just pissed me off by having almost the entire page be animated flash ads (except for the content itself), so I finally installed adblock and whitelisted a couple of sites (such as this one!) that weren't bad.

The only time ghasts are a real danger is when your portal spawns above a vast lava ocean and you have nowhere to go, otherwise just hop around a corner or into a cave or dig a few blocks and you're completely safe.

Terraria was made in C#, fyi. There is already a Minecraft clone written in C++ here. Minecraft would be plenty moddable if it were written in C++... if it had a modding API (which, seeing as Mojang is completely incapable of providing such, I guess it wouldn't be moddable at all!). I guess the Bukkit team isn't actually any good at writing proper APIs any more than Mojang!

Between the two original choices, I'd probably say the Z6A; I've heard that Turtle Beach is a good brand, but not heard anything about Tritton before.
