  1. I "patronized" you because you completely changed your post. Now I remember why I never got into the habit of replying to you.
  2. I don't know.. It's probably somewhere. You should edit posts instead of triple posting though..
  3. Funny, none of those listings show anything to do with Software.. I think I would have believed you if you had said you were an insurance salesman though. Nice edit aswell.
  4. PVP has been enabled on all servers since Tekkit classic.. Just don't start a war with an unwilling party. I'll take a look at the mods list for both the new Voltz and Tekkit, honestly I really don't have a preference either way. Provided its stable.. I don't have to restart the server every 10 seconds and things work like they should I'll play anything. Tho i kinda really do want to create a Munitions factory so voltz seems to be more likely... Actually looking at the mods list theres no BC, computer craft or largeish amount of the other more widely used mods in Voltz.. So My vote is for the Tekkit Space thingamajig..
  5. You're talking about the Space one right? With Galaticraft and Steves carts? If so then I don't have a problem. Honestly the only difference between Tekkit Space and Big Dig is the modified ore generation (which is just a cfg file and since Tekkit Space runs CoFH Core we could technically just copy that over if we REALLY wanted to, with some minor edits of course.) and a couple of the superficial mods (Magic Crops? ICBM, Mehinisim -THANK GOD-, and tinkers construct -aww-) but honestly at the core its still the same old same old.. If you wanna make the move ks and need help let me know.. Other wise I quote clone (minus the picture) and Like this.. Side-Note: IF we do end up switching and a new world is made I can offer my storage account to host the old Big Dig world file for people if they wish to keep it. It'll save room and bandwidth on your rig and its not like I use that thing for anything important now.
  6. Kay. I'll be in and out. Not really interested in playing minecraft atm but I can at least take care of the server. So if it goes down PM me or post here. Or on steam. Or on skype if i happen to be on there at the time.
  7. The server is back up.. I don't get emails if you edit your post.. Else it would have been up at one.
  8. The issue with the conduit is actually a liquiduct in Irish's base.. Not sure whats causing it since I still have no idea what causes Ticking Tile Entity errors.. Its a one off crash tho so I don't have to remove anything to start the server back up. Anyway I'm uploading the world file to my cloud storage to get it back on the server.. I'll post again when I have a time frame on when the server will be up again. Edit* We're looking at 3-4 hours before the upload finishes and another hour before its on the rig and the server is up.
  9. I've been taking a look at the world from the server on my system and I've found at least one thing so far. The Rawr Null spam happening in the console is due to a redstone signal being applied to a Tinkers Construct Smeltery Faucet, it'll show Rawr null when the smeltery is empty and Rawr net.minecraftforge.liquids.LiquidsStack@xxx when theres a moltren metal to be pored. Nothing bad about it as a it is aside from the spam, its just some debug code left in my mistake I'm sure. However if you have a redstone signal applied to a faucet iId suggest not doing that just so we don't get spammed with things so its easier to see the bad stuff. (The redstone signal is being given at exactly 14 second intervals, or every 280 ticks if the server is running well) I'm going to be looking through the nether for what Tab found earlier.. I'm not able to recreate it on my server yet so it may take some time. Like wise I'll be running the nether trough world edit to try to fix some of the lag caused by moving lava. If you have a lava pump in the nether I'd really like it if you switched over to My system, it produces enough lava to run 30 magmatic engines at a surplus and if properly built and throttled will produce more power then it'll consume to make that power.. So its a perpetual energy machine of the first class.. I'll update y'all on when/if the server will be up again.
  10. Hey guys, I'm back in Ohio. I'm uhh, not gonna be able to take care of anything for a bit. I'm really out of sorts right now. Trying the straighten things out. Been really depressed for the last couple days and really don't have any patience to deal with issues on the server. The Steam Summer sale started on the 11th so I've got some new games to take my mind off things for a bit. Which is good. But yeah... I'm just gonna take a break from Minecraft for a bit. If the server ever gets back up and stable I may pop in to turn some of the things off in my base.. Not sure how long it'll take a DSU to fill with blaze rod's/powder but don't wanna risk it. I'll see you guys when things settle down for me a bit.
  11. Hey guys, I wanted to give everyone an update. My Grand Ma died on Wednesday so I've been busy with funeral arrangements and dealing with the estates and stuff. I'm about to take a flight out to Califonia for the service and such. I wont be able to restart the server and even if I could just before it went down there was an issue in the nether which lagged the server something fierce. So until Ks can take a look or one of the other staff are able to take care of the situation the server will remain down. Really sorry that I cant take care of it but obviously I have other things that are more important at the moment.
  12. It may or may not be now.. It was when I restarted it at 3PM, however something in the nether was lagging like hell.. I'm currently tied up in something IRL and can't track down/find the source or check to see if the server is up right now. (Net books are weak, especially ones you build yourself). Sorry.
  13. Ks may still have the world files somewhere IDK. The server rig seems to be offline again. Not sure if its a power outage or net outage but either way I can't access it to start the server back up until Ks gets home and physically turns it on.
  14. Its not a matter of whitelisting, we have to add you to the members group for permissions. Is your username In Game the same as these forums? I can add it to the list if it is.. else I'll need either you online or for you to post it so I can get it submitted right.
  15. Then you just install the 32bit version.. Like I said if that doesnt work post the report on that thread.. Its not an issue with the server so aside from what I said before I cant help you.
  16. I'd assuming you're using Big Dig 1.3.9 since that was where I last encountered this. Its a bug with Logistics Pipes expecting a higher version of buildcraft than what was shipped with the pack. Either update Buildcraft yourself, Or switch to Big Dig 1.3.13 to fix the issue.. Or use MCEdit or the like to remove the pipe from the world and don't use Logistics Pipes.
  17. I've seen that crash report 3 times in the last week. The only suggestion I can give i what I gave the others, reinstall java, dont update, completely uninstall it and install it (If you're using a 64bit operating system or have more then 4gb of ram you'll need to install BOTH the 32bit and 64bit versions.) Delete the .technic folder and the launcher and redownload. Once you get them downloaded again click the little gear icon under the BigDig pack selection, allocate no more then 4GB ram to it and check the "Increase PermGen Size" box and click save. If none of these work post the crash report here: http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/lets-test-big-dig-1-3-13.46869/ they may have a better idea. As general information this modpack version is 1.3.13 and is based on Minecraft 1.5.2
  18. The server is down. I'm assuming there was a power outage in Ks's area as I cannot access the box to bring it back up. I'll post back if I hear anything.
  19. Excellently put Tab, I could not have said it better myself. That's very unfortunate for you then. I highly suggest not saying that on whatever server you move on to.
  20. Due to excessive lag caused by multiple pumps working in the nether we've had to regenerate the nether. If you had a pump there please PM me here or catch me in game and I'll replace it and any misc. blocks. Also, since the main issue was caused by flowing lava please refrain from having any more then one pump in the nether. Or use the handy Magma crucible to turn Netherack into a self sustaining lava generation system.
