  1. if you aren't sure then you should keep looking until you are sure.
  2. Not to mention rainbow text, <blink>, a hit counter, and a hidden midi playing something popular. State of the art geocities pages for platform entries, that's the way to go.
  3. Except the front legs. It looks like he's doing the creep.
  4. Wrong section = no help
  5. Type your username and password into a text document (notepad, word, whatever). Copy&paste that info into the official minecraft launcher. If it logs in fine, copy&paste it into the technic launcher.
  6. Powerless here has yet tot take the hint that servers go in the server section.
  7. The kids won't get this but: Punch the Monkey to get a free Diamond!
  8. Find a decent range of free block IDs and set everything from AM2 to it. Something is overwriting something else and the best way to fix it is like with kids annoying eachother, separate them.
  9. Remove foods plus and see what happens.
  10. Silent hill. I played that game 16 years ago and radio static still creeps me out. Typical survival horror setup, lone person exploring town trying to find loved one while fighting off monsters. But very well written and for technical reasons they cranked up the fog so visibility was 10ft at most. So to give advanced warning the character finds a broken radio that emits white noise static when a monster approaches, though it does not give an indication of which direction. Probably didn't help that I played through in my darkened dorm room.
  11. Why?
  12. You much have a recipe editing mod in there with some bad data. That recipe is for the mana battery, a block, and block ID collisions cause forge to error out. So either something really weird is going on or you have a mod telling forge to change the recipe to output seaweed instead of the correct output. Now if it was an item colliding you'd have an easy fix. Just do an item/block ID dump in NEI and change the config for one of those two mods to use a completely different ID range.
  13. Project a forcefield above your base?
  14. Assuming 1.6.4, start up a client without any biome adding mods. Go into NEI, under tools, and dump the free biome ID list.
  15. Either you are misreading something and you actually have a 64bit OS with 32bit java, or whoever sold/built you that machine had no clue what they are doing. If your computer actually is 32bit then you have 8.6gig of wasted ram in it.
  16. You couldn't find a section because there is no section for this. Custom modpacks are not supported by us. Use the discussion tab in the modpack's platform page to contact the creator and get help.
  17. http://forums.technicpack.net/tracker/
  18. Disconcented has the correct choice of action here. Migrating the lastlogin or anything other than getting actual control of you account back is just wasted effort. Eventually you will have to get the password recovered.
  19. Question. What are you using to decode the stream? Part of the JMF or some other API?
  20. The only thing technic is legally allowed to do is remove packs on platform that actively support piracy. The launcher is open source and the admins cannot dictate what other people do with their own project forks. And even with an unmodified launcher, any attempt to enforce copyright beyond the "grab a fresh copy with the user's credentials" it already does would open Kaker&Co. up to huge legal liabilities.
  21. Of course. Do you not feel it? The gap in the very soul of the forums? The empty scar that marks where p0pdr0p once graced us?
  22. Truly, we are lessened by his absence.
  23. I was a half second away from tossing a warning and deleting this. An actual modding related thread instead of people posting server crashdumps or demanding someone make them a modpack, that's nearly unheard of anymore. I personally haven't poked around with any actual effort since 1.2.5, but are you using eclipse and is it tossing any errors at you?
  24. We do not support custom packs. Use the discussion tab in the modpack's platform listing to contact the creator.
