[1.7.10] Apocalyptic Gaming Network: APOC Tech & RPG Modpack & Server - All of technic in one pack! (240 mods) | Dedicated Server | Economy/Shops/Plots/Rewards/Keys | PVP & PVE Worlds (3 Overworlds, 100+ Modded Worlds) | 10+ Custom Plugins!

1: He said lag, not FPS. Lag can be a catch all term to some, but most players use lag to refer to TPS and bandwidth issues. 2: OP has two meanings. OPerator or OverPowered. My money is he was complaining about constant reminders to purchase memberships for ingame boosts. 3: Your tone borderlines hysteria. As if you're trying to desperately to make sure this guy is seen as a hateful troll loser, even if you have to put words in his mouth. 4: I noticed you didn't respond to his complaint about the help system having a cooldown timer.- 162 replies

That is strange. Have you tried it in a different launcher?

Locking, but not deleting this thread Matty. If you are unable to defend your server from such accusations then prospective players of future servers you create should have the opportunity to see that if they choose to research it.
-
I don't have my client handy, but have you tried the vanilla pack in the launcher and see what it does? If you can get it working with the vanilla pack, try just vanilla + forge.

Unfortunately getting modders to give consent isn't a small issue. Minecraft modding has gotten so toxic from the monetization adfly (and now curse) offered that many of the big time mods are jealously guarded and controlled because people think it's their key to the big time. You will never find another modding community that actually has to debate whether modders should have the right to destroy the computers of people they don't like. Personally I think it's best to focus on the open source mods. GPL, MIT, ect... licensed mods that let you check the source. They're MUCH easier to work with and have a better chance of going long haul.

Alright children, enough. Vlandox: You started with an attempt to stop any mod drama flareups, then went full stupid by trying to control the conversation and prove your superiority. Telling Fredigar to butt out of his own thread wasn't a good idea either. disconsented: This section exists for questions like this. Yes the forge forums would be better for learning, and Fredigar can expect grief from the 14 year old IP lawyers telling him what he plans is tantamount to babyeating and kicking the godly-modders puppies, but that's his choice to make where he seeks help from. Fredigar: The easiest way to add essentia to things would be to decompile/deobfuscate an addon mod for thaumcraft and see how they add it. Then do the same thing in your mod. As for mod metals versions of weapons with simple crafting recipes (no special machines), that's much easier and just requires knowing how the item is referenced in the code. Anything that requires a special way to craft would again require burrowing into the mod in question.

Wow Vlandox, when did you become a moderator?

Experienced Dev Looking for Mature Tekkit Classic Staff

The server sections are for advertising your server for players to join. Not for staff recruitment.- 2 replies

Didn't even make it past the first line before my eyes decided randomly wandering the wall-o-text was easier and just as nonsensical. But it's easy to tell this is yet another "Update <technic/tekkit classic/tekkit lite> to latest minecraft and add these mods as well because they're sooo much better!" thread. Answer everyone else gets: Tekkit <classic/lite> is done and will not be receiving updates. The only reason they haven't gone the way of Technic SSP is the number of people who still play on old servers running the pack. If you want an updated pack, play Tekkit.

We may actually need the big blinking sign and showgirls showing the way. A big ol' vegas style production with tons of neon lights, sequins, rhinestones, a fog machine, dancers and maybe an elvis impersonator. Shows every half hour. Someone handing out discount coupons at the door for the All You Can Eat buffet. One of the admins doinking the more naive dancers, promising them their own show once he can fit them into the schedule and dumping them out the back once they start getting impatient.

So very much not the correct place for this. What's with the influx of people incapable of telling the difference between a mod and a modpack?

I moved it after posting my reply...

Really? I never woulda guessed... Melfice, plow, please don't help these posts. Point them in the correct direction and either help em if they relocate correctly or taunt mercilessly if they don't.

Hows about you do as instructed in the thread you posted less than 24 hours ago?

FYI, here's a chunk of the patch notes from the ars magica thread. The Power System: -Renamed "Raw Essence" to Etherium -The neutral nexus and its mechanics no longer exist -It has been replaced with the Obelisk, which burns vinteum and liquid essence like a furnace to generate neutral Etherium -The Dark Nexus no longer exists, and has been replaced with the Black Aurem -For the most part works the same, but there is a new way to get it, detailed in the compendium -The Light Nexus no longer exists, and has been replaced with the Celestial Prism -For the most part works the same, but there is a new way to get it, detailed in the compendium Might be a good idea to read them?

HELP ME! Where do you get the technic MODPACK (newer the better)
Neowulf replied to kkbkkbkkb1010's topic in Platform Pagoda
Yup, company policy. When I read your message I personally walked over to the pack control office, swiped my security card, queued the deployment cluster to extract the harddrive with the old technic files, and slapped a magnet on it. It's gone forever and you made me do it. I hope you're happy. -

And? Voltz racked up a million downloads in a month or two when it first launched. Hexxit's launch was a huge mystery that generated probably 500 speculation posts a day for over a week. And AotBT raised thousands of dollars in childsplay donations from people desperate to try it a couple days early. The interest in technic ssp is pretty small and easily served by platform packs like the one you linked. -

Technic the old single player only modpack is dead and gone. If you want a best attempt copy you'll have to search the platform for a custom pack trying to recreate it. -
Two spam posts today both targeting this thread. Apparently Kano here is as much a spam magnet as he is a chick magnet.
