Anyway it gives people a kick in the ass to go do their own bindings. Ex1: Yeah, equivalent exchange is vastly overpowered compared to other mods. Well known, and the reason a lot of servers disable it. Ex2: I would think getting 4 bars of metal in exchange for 4 bars of metal would be the default behavior. IC2 bronze is annoying, you lose half your mass. Moot point anyway, forestry going byebye. Ex3: The mod author said exactly as much on the mod page, and has stated it's up to the server ops to change the default behavior. Why would the technic guys do any different? Ex4: I can write a couple lines of code in LUA that would destroy the tick rate of any server with just a couple computers. I can also create a field of timers set to the fastest rate and kill the tick rate of a server. As everything else, it's a trade-off server OPs need to make. It's not that big of a deal anyway, unless you're a whiny little prick who can't handle things slowing down in the slightest...

Use a redpower filter then, you can have it suck entire stacks out as fast as one per 4 ticks.

Easy enough to test: login once, close the launcher, change your password on the minecraft website to add a 1 to the end, add that 1 to the end of the blanked out password in the launcher. If it works, the launcher is recreating your plain text password for field entry.

That's the reason I haven't touched scII and probably never will. We have shit bandwidth if we try to get more than 1 person playing an online game at a time.

Check the ram speed compatibility of your new motherboard. I assume you're getting a brand spanking new mobo+CPU combo so you'll have to make sure your old memory is supported. With RAM, it all comes down to DDR1/2/3 + speed. Also, as simple statedguy, motherboards are not compatible between brands. And frankly you're really lucky if it's compatible between even minor processor upgrades within a single brand. I really hope you have close expert help on this, because if you have no clue what you're doing it can easily cost you a burned set. At around $200 for a decent combo, that's really freakin expensive.

If something shows up that allows IC2 autoharvesting, then I can deal with forestry deciding to play tantruming toddler. CC mining turtle, a drop catcher of some sort, RP cabling, two deployers (one with saplings, the other with bonemeal), and a breaker. Turtle interfaces with the cable and triggers the deployers sequentially then the breaker. Then it goes out and mines everything down to the level right above the deployers. Finally it returns, drops everything, and restarts the sequence.

Well obviously Kaker has the authority to demand changes be made on any server running tekkit. I mean, what other reason would someone make a modpack but to have complete godlike control over all servers that feature your work? Of course the best use for that is forcing server ops to take back players they have banned, correcting the injustices those terrible server ops have leveled on poor innocent players like EpicBloodshed7.
