As long as they don't royally screw it up, the system requirements shouldn't change at all. It should get atleast a little better as stuff like chunk loading, the chat system, and other SSP vs SMP differences are cut down to just the SMP implementation.

You mean the thread leak dan fixed in 1.32? I want my computers, especially now that you can make big screen TVs.

To be fair, our politicians do force as much of american law as they can on other countries. It's an easy mistake to make.

Actually it only lists clevercraft once. What it says is block 235 is already in use by clevercraft when it tries to add the dynamite block from IC2. Wipe your install and try again, your config is messed up.

Bribe a buddy who can build a computer a case of beer to put one together for you, just make sure he adds a couple case lights. And if you want a pimped out case that badly, find a tattoo artist and see what they can do. You can probably find one who can handle an engraver and their art is MUCH better than the crappy font etching alienwarez does.

Easiest way, stick an IC2 pump on top of a BC tank. IC2 pumps will gladly pull from tanks set below them. Not very fast though, if you want fast you need RP deployers and filters. 1 deployer per tank filling empty cells, 1 filter per deployer pulling lava cells and sending them to your chest storage.

... Are you playing minecraft on a raspberry pi? I built my machine 3 years ago for a little under $600, it still runs every game I throw at it fine and dandy. Alienware is just a brand that adds a 100% markup.

is there an easy way to refill quarry holes.
Neowulf replied to Shadelin_Night's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Buildcraft filler with the flatten pattern. Just set the area right over the hole and let it go. It'll take a lot of cobble but it will work just fine. -

Ahh curry. I love that stuff. Is tasty napalm. -
No, computercraft is not a redundant mod now that RP2 had it's own computer simulator. The programming languages are very different, CC being a MUCH more user friendly mod. Show me a wireless GPS and client-server messaging system with RP2. Show me an RP2 computer that can dig itself down to bedrock, then coordinate with others to mine out an entire base complex complete with ladders, doors, and proper torch placement. Show me an RP2 computer that can do a little dance for me, then play the first half of starwars on a wall sized monitor.

Wrong Username/password fields, but i know i am doing it correctly
Neowulf replied to Phocraken's question in Technic Launcher
1: Type your username and password into a notepad file or something (just don't save it). 2: Open the vanilla minecraft launcher, from the minecraft website. Copy and paste the username and password you typed out into the official launcher and log in. 3: If the login works, keep going. If not, you're typing the wrong info. 4: Open the technic launcher. Copy/paste the same login info from the same document into the correct fields. If you can login with the standard minecraft launcher but not the technic one, there is a configuration problem somewhere that needs to be found and addressed. -

Neowulf replied to Phocraken's question in Technic Launcher
Unless those are your typos of "feild" and "combonation", I'd wipe clean the .techniclauncher folder and the launcher.exe you're using and just redownload. Looks corrupted. Might want to do it either way, cleanse by fire is always a good fix. -

Bah, tomatoes are the tastiest of plant reproductive organs! Their flavor comes from their angsty confusion over whether they're fruits or if they swing towards the vegetable team. -

Re: Can you run Tekkit with the .jar? I'm actually quite calm. I only start raging at people who are complete retards, which you haven't gotten to the level of yet. Someone telling you what the forums are like is not backseat moderating. I can tell you're one of those guys who believes only an inscribed gold tablet brought from on high by winged cherubs is the only response truly worthy of your incredibly important attention, but that doesn't mean anyone else is the lowliest of sewer scum with delusions of power. I did not threaten with punishment, or tell you a kellering was inbound. Because I have not those powers nor any special insider information as to moderator's actions. You've been answered previously, please don't try to weasel around it by implying all I've done is troll you. That link is the only way to launch tekkit via a jar file. Many before you have asked, begged, threatened, conned, and raged about bypassing the launcher, and it's always the exact same response. No. Use the launcher or go build the pack yourself. -
Whitelisting seems to be the best idea, as long as you actually look at applications instead of just approving all but the worst. You should really pick a theme and go with it. PVP or no? Would you rather the population group up to tackle big projects and other groups, or just let them all do their own thing. Do you want greifers to completely ruin your server within an hour of it going live? Make your server based on what YOU want to play. I guarantee you'll get atleast a handful of dedicated players. Though me personally? I'd go for mcmmo with iconomy + chestshops and towny based PVP (players must join/start a town, all land is protected otherwise) with EE and a couple of the big lag inducers turned off.

Re: Can you run Tekkit with the .jar? If you knew this would be the result of your post, why did you bother posting it? Ignoring your unprovable claims and attempt to make us all feel inferior to yourself, it's quite obvious to anyone who has been on the forums more than 10 minutes that: A: "Help me based off this completely-generic-and-devoid-of-any-useful-information plea/demand!" is a stupid thing to do. B: I doubt Vladimir Putin himself and his KGR leftovers could coax a non-launcher version of technic/tekkit out of the team here. It ain't happening, don't bother asking because it just tells us you're looking to use a pirated client. -

Re: Can you run Tekkit with the .jar? Why yes my good man. Just download this http://mirror.technicpack.net/files/technic-launcher-latest.jar and run it! You, I mean your friend, will have no problems using their perfectly legally obtained and by no means whatsoever pirated minecraft account through that. You're welcome. :) -

Got 7 iron and a redstone? Make a turtle, place it over the edge, fill it with cobble, then use this program to have to deploy a pillar. Do that all round your area and you have an armored chimney. Just whipped this up, haven't tested it yet. local tArgs = { ... } if #tArgs ~= 1 then print( "Usage: quickPillar >depth>" ) return end local depth = tonumber( tArgs[1] ) if depth < 1 then print( "Depth needs to be positive" ) return end local function checkInv() for n=1,9 do turtle.select(n) if turtle.getItemCount(n) ~= 0 then return end end for m=1,depth do turtle.down() end for m=1,depth do turtle.placeDown() turtle.up() checkInv() end Edit: Already noticed an error... -

Top part of an onion bun, toasted. Thin layer of mayo. Single piece of romaine lettuce. Thin layer of mayo. Thick slice of red onion. (optional for me) Cougar gold cheese. Salt + pepper. 1/2lb burger patty. Thin layer of mayo. Thick sliced tomato. Thin layer of mayo. Bottom part of onion bun, toasted. An by thin layer of mayo I mean leftover after you scrape as much off as possible. Don't overload it. Cougar gold cheese is an aged sharp white cheddar produced by washington state university. It's really really good. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cougar_Gold_cheese
