Diabloz Posted August 3, 2012 Author Share Posted August 3, 2012 you need to update your java to java 7, for your 32 or 64 bit operating system, then go to your tekkit client > options > click development build and ensure its 3.1.2 . we have a teamspeak server but we could do skype ill let you know tonight since im still at work. With iron, (as it is rare) this is useful, for you can potentially double your ore on a slow mining run. Recommendations(if you been invited): No, sir! Others things i should know: I'm not 100% active, and school is starting back up within the week. So I may not be able to find time to play EVERY SINGLE DAY. Days that I can MOST DEFINITELY BE ON are Friday, Sunday. Nothing else is to be expected, as my work loads are huge. Also. I've played a few Tekkit servers, however was never really able to get behind the server because of bad moderation of the server itself. From reading your post, your server seems very well run. It all depends on wether or not it is relativly easy to get starting items. Have you played IC2 or buildcraft: Yes, I have. I play on my own server with friends and I own that server. What is the purpose of the macerator?: It's basically a machine that crushes ores into powder form. It also crushes coal into coal dust to make solar panels. It also double ore output. Very useful. Recommendations: I saw it on the top of the tekkit forums server list. Other things I should know: I live in Canada (eh?). I am a huge fan of servers that have some sort of story attached to them so I am extremely excited about this server! MxRacer100 Posted August 3, 2012 Share Posted August 3, 2012 Now that the server slots are lower and getting in is sometimes a matter or timing or waiting is it possible we could have preferential slots for town/nation owners? Being in a position of authority such as a town/nation owner is a fragile thing. Depending on how protected the town is and how much the server continues to grow in population with shrinking slots it seems town owners not being able to manage their town could potentially be detrimental to the workings of a town or nation. A macerator takes ores and creates them into two powders of the ore so you can make double the ingots.
