Launcher doesn't start Tekkit Legends

Hello,

I want to play Tekkit Legends, but the launcher doesn't start the game. It's not just Tekkit, but all other modpacks too.

When I click "play" to open Tekkit, this can been seen in my console: http://pastebin.com/PWG0jBXw

Open that .bat, restart your launcher, retry loading modpack.

I've been trying to put this on my dad's computer and keep falling flat. running into the same issue as above, I just cannot find a fix to it and I'm begging for help.
