The_DarthMoogle Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Not entirely sure whether this is within the rules, but I shall say I am against wanton destruction of one's liver. There. So with all bases covered, What are you drinking? I'm currently almost addicted to Strawberry Fair. It's brewed in Attenborough, and not available in most places but I can pick it up at my local Tescos in Suffolk every now and then. As you can probably tell it's super strawberryy, but over a crisp blond beer. I like my blond beers a lot, but this is just the créme de la strawberry for me. More obscure beverages to come as a new bunch of stuff is arriving at my local next week. Quote
ErusPrime Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 There's a local brewery that makes a heavenly libation called farmhouse ale. The only beer I drink. I've actually started researching how to make my own rums and ciders. Quote
Xylord Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 "Crème de menthe". I find it utterly disgusting, but it has a funny color and let's me tint my tongue without eating super-sugary candies. Quote
Cheap Shot Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 http://www.wellingtonbrewery.ca/ They can do no wrong. http://www.wellingtonbrewery.ca/?p=2576 ^ This one is the most recent I've tried and immediately a favourite. Quote
Jay? Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 My favorite drink at the moment is a shot. 3 parts Apple Pie, 1 part Kraken Rum. Quote
Hushful Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Blue Moon if I'm drinking beer, and either Jack Daniels or Lucid Absinthe if im looking to have a "good" time. Quote
Cheap Shot Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 I think I like peach bellinis but I may be thinking of a different peach slushy bar drink. Quote
Moderators Munaus Posted November 24, 2012 Moderators Posted November 24, 2012 Bols Advocaat. An eggy creamy heavenly taste. Also, Dooley's! Quote
althalus1337 Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Irish cream is what I'm currently drinking. It's got cream, it's got whiskey, what more do you need. Quote
ErusPrime Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 I think I like peach bellinis but I may be thinking of a different peach slushy bar drink. a bellini is crushed peach and champagne. Goes great with a rosemary mango surf&turf. Quote
Cheap Shot Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 a bellini is crushed peach and champagne. Goes great with a rosemary mango surf&turf. Yeah now I'm not at all sure. It was a peach something and it was delicious. Edit: It was a "white peach bellini". Quote
Mooseman9 Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 I'm still underage, but I had a White Russian before and it was pretty good. Quote
The_DarthMoogle Posted November 25, 2012 Author Posted November 25, 2012 Had something called a Crespa a while ago. Whiskey, lemon juice, banana liqueur, banana chunks and chocolate on crushed ice. That was pretty incredible, it was like a smoothie on crack. Quote
Ozzy Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Guinness here. Vodka if it's later in the night. Vodka and orange if it is a fancy do. Quote
okamikk Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 what the non-regulars might not know, is that darth here is actually completely immune to alcohol Quote
The_DarthMoogle Posted November 25, 2012 Author Posted November 25, 2012 what the non-regulars might not know, is that darth here is actually completely immune to alcohol Aye, that is true. Quote
Torezu Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 what the non-regulars might not know, is that darth here is actually completely immune to alcohol I find that highly unlikely. While he might be completely immune to feeling drunk or having certain drugs affect him, the alcohol itself can still damage internal organs, and blood alcohol poisoning is still quite possible. Finally, unless his metabolism is off the charts, alcohol has a lot of sugar in it, so it could make him fat from over-consumption. ;p Quote
theprolo Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 My cats are named after Alcoholic Beverages. Does that count? Quote

My cats are named after Alcoholic Beverages. Does that count? I had a hamster called Whiskey Quote
Lethosos Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 I once ride a retired race horse named Kentucky Bourbon. Anyways, if I had a choice, I'd drink a brew from the Grand Teton Brewery. Best microbrewery I've drunk a glass from. Quote

Sargent_Blockson Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 I personally like dark beer such as hobgoblin and guinness. If something good happens that it's champagne on ice. Quote
The_DarthMoogle Posted December 1, 2012 Author Posted December 1, 2012 I personally like dark beer such as hobgoblin and guinness. Hobgoblin's great, too. Not such a fan of the black stuff though. Quote
Jay? Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Hobgoblin's great, too. Not such a fan of the black stuff though. Speaking of the black stuff, Kraken Rum is delicious. Easily the best rum i've ever tasted. Quote
