i connected to the server this morning.... and when trying to use the /back command, which would have taken me from the overworld to the mining age... it gave an error, something about a missing floor... then i tried /spawn, which gave me this error:

yeee!.. it works..

and i was thinking... is there a way, that from time to time... like once a month, or once a week, the mine age would be reseted with a lot denser ore configuration? :D i think that would be really cooooooooool! :)

But, it's kind of true. While some ores are dense, it doesn't feel like there's much of, say, copper. And industrialcraft uses a bizarre amount of copper. Maybe we can buy it for all our loads of diamonds somehow?

exactly what i was thinking... need a lot of copper an also... i need to find a way of getting more rubber... which i would be more than greatful to be able to trade it for diamonds or other ores.. :D

After you so generously gifted me with a new suit I spent all my UU matter on sticky resin. 4 makes 21 resin, and thus 63 rubber.

But I also think there's a Forestry thing that'll do it. I can make you a centrifuge extractor at least, then you can chuck rubber logs, saplings and everything in and have the rubber fairly fast.

Why you should be whitelisted?

I want to find a good server to play on. This server seems to have an interesting concept, and looks cool. I like helping newbies out (so long as they don't beg for gear!) I know a decent bit about many of the mods in this pack. And I am a cheater by nature, I don't like it, I can't help it, so I play on servers where I can't cheat, because I am easily persuaded by the little demon Kronk on my shoulders but don't want to be.

What you want to do on the server:

I would like to build a small house. However, as I advanced through the encyclopedia and got richer, I would upgrade the house, bit by bit. It would turn into a luxurious mansion. After I make it to the very end, I would expand outwards and build a town, for other players to live in. I would try and kill the wither to make a beacon for Town Square, and I would give each part of the town it's own name. Each road would have a name, there could be public gardens and farms, and a building for a town supply of generic resources (Only take what you need!) I don't know if I ever would do this, but if I do, at the very end, I would build a great castle wall around my city, and a mighty castle, with a golden throne. That's my end goal, that only has about a 2.5% chance of ever happening, but you asked for what I would do, so here you go!

Accepted! Cant connect to the the console right now. I'll whitelist you as soon as I can.

General announcement: We have decided to migrate over to the new Tekkit and open it to the public once we get all the plugins working. Everyone who has been whitelisted already will stay on the list and will be able to play on the server while we are reinstalling the plugins. During this testing time be prepared for sudden server reboots and crashes. We will try and do everything while everyone is offline but sometimes it will happen during your playing.

We will be moving over to the new pack in about a week and a half and may make a custom pack containing extra mods like forestry, extra bees, etc but that has yet to be decided.

i connected to the server about 15 mins ago when i noticed that all my filters, pneumatic tubes wooden plank covers were gone... and there was no sign of "forced entry"... i think it's somekind of a bug since all of those items are gone from the chests too, and not just the placed ones.. :D

Except -

Not to alarm you, but you may want to do a rollback after that. I came on just now and all Redpower everything was gone from the world and my inventories. Tubes, machines, half my house, the volcano it stands on etc. The emptiness can be walked through, but floating water and lighting hasn't updated.

Redpower still exists in NEI and works in singleplayer. But as far as I can see is not in the new Tekkit build at all.

It sounds like red power was removed from the server mods but I cannot say for sure unless I get a look at the files. I'll try to get console access again.

Yes, the Nexus works perfectly fine, everything looks like Redpower was simply turned off on the server end. If I try to craft anything redpower, it shows for a frame then disables, as if I can do it on my end but server doesn't comply.

Yes, redpower was removed due to a silly amount of cpu and chunk errors. It was also causing the server's tick rate to half. Due to this we are accelerating our plans, the move will be made this weekend providing I get my computer going. Say goodbye to the old world and say hello to the new one. Galacticraft will be disabled for now as it will be a final rank unlock.
