  1. Going to give this place a look-see. Minecraft name is to the left of this post. I do intend to make a Mystcraft world solely for the purposes of mining it out, by the way.
  2. I think if you get a warning point that links to the needless hostility thread, then it counts as "being a dickbag." Anyway to get back on topic: Hexxit looks really frickin' cool, guys. It's obviously an rpg-ish modpack, but I wonder which play mode it will be oriented towards.
  3. I don't think $fag is in any way appropriate to use on this forum, as demonstrated by moderator reprisals above. As for the Flesh to Leather mod...y'know, that's a good question that I really can't answer. Then again, this isn't a finalized modlist so it's entirely possible the team will replace FtL with Simple Recipes.
  4. I believe this is called "being a dickbag". Way to go, gents. Well, first off there's Herbert "Daring" Dashwood (and his trusty ghoul manservant Argyle) in Fallout 3. In the same series of games, Harold sometimes calls the tree growing from his head "Herbert". That said, Hexamancer gets my vote. Also, I need to find the setting that turns off the damn rich text editor because it always screws up my fancy inline links.
  5. Um, you really don't understand how downloading things works. You weren't running the file from the Internet, you were telling your browser to download the file, save it somewhere, and then run it on your local machine. Also "Download bucket"? You mean "folder".

  7. Well if the launcher will only let you go to 1.5GB, I'd assume you only have 1.5GB of RAM. Buy more RAM.
  8. Here is a site I like to use to price out builds. They've got a list of damn near every place that you can buy computer components from. Also, most parts come packaged in an anti-static wrap and you won't need one once your rig is assembled since the case performs the job of grounding out any static.
  9. Motherfucker stop deleting your posts and own your mistakes. Also, quoted for posterity 'cause this dude is a chump of the highest order.
  10. Motherfucker needs to stop editing his posts to try and hide how he's using a mental condition as an excuse to be a twat and hide behind the victim card. Hey Vas, protip: If people jump on you, it's because you're being a twat. It's not organized or premeditated, people sit in the IRC channel and see shit blowing up because you're being a chump. Naturally they jump to the defense of the non-chumps you're getting all hot and bothered at. No one cares how special mommy and daddy say you are, or that you were told it's okay to excuse behaving like an idiot with "I have a mental condition!" Stop being a child or I assure you you won't last long around here.

  12. I didn't build it, someone on /r/bapc did. It's also an FM2, not an AM2.
  13. Super outdated, that. You'd be better off just buying a brand new computer. This is a brand-new computer that's better than most prebuilts and runs about $666.
  14. Right, because the possibility of people having problems because they're doing it wrong is completely nil.
  15. IC2 was removed because the Technic team no longer wanted to include it in the modpack. The reason it crashed is probably because you installed the latest official release, which is for Minecraft 1.4.7 rather than 1.5.1. thread
  16. This is in the wrong place. You might have better luck in the Bug Reports section.
  17. Uuuuh...maybe you could not play on a toaster?
  18. Optifine is not included in any of the official Technic modpacks. And how does this happening on a Mac have anything to do with solving the problem?
  19. My apologies, I thought you had tried everything to fix it and none of it had worked. Guess what they say about assumptions is true - I've made an ass of myself. E: FWIW I didn't know you were too busy at the moment/time to do more intensive work on fixing the problem.
  20. Great server, but after something broke inside GriefPrevention's database and Zilacon was unable to fix it, I decided to find a different server where my stuff isn't fucked to hell and back. Again, great server and great people. Definitely worth it, just a shame that a database error effectively ended my time there. I made an ass of myself by implying that Zilacon was too incompetent to fix what I broke.
  21. There's no dates or other sort of date marking on that photo, just two different prices. One without the USD marker and one with. This is not good proof.
  22. Might want to also disable DimensionalDoors entirely on your server.
  23. Looks like it's something with Dimensional Doors that's not playing well with BukkitForge - try deleting dimension -23 in your server files.
