All of the Solder metadata is contained within the database. Just back up the database and you'll have everything you need.

That modpack link does not work.

Bug: OptiFine error causes glitched display
plowmanplow replied to Kyonkicchi's topic in Platform Pagoda
Without your API URL or a link to your pack details page we will be unable to help you. -
Your ChickenBones mods are fatally out of date. You need to update CodeChickenCore and NotEnoughItems to their latest 1.7.10 versions.
-
@codeghostboy123: Did you not even look at the rest of the thread you posted in? Start your own thread for this issue.

@Roadhog: Yes, I saw that sentence. I also saw the one where you said "I create a private modpack for my server on Technic.". This is confusing. However, thank you for clarifying that it is indeed the client you are having troubles with. However, you have twice been asked to provide the API URL or a link to the pack details page but have yet to provide that information. We cannot help you without it.

This is the right place for custom modpack support. Always provide the API URL or a link to the pack details page when requesting custom modpack assistance. I'm a bit unclear. Are you saying your client is crashing or the server is crashing?

help the next version of my pack is broken
plowmanplow replied to fury of fawfull's topic in Platform Pagoda
Come on man, I'm sure we've mentioned it to you before. Use a pastebin service for your log data. Don't put it in the threads here I must not have gotten my point across before. You MUST use the Thaumic Energistics beta or not update AE2. There are no other options. -
It could, of course, be coincidental, but I've yet to have a world corruption from Artifice worldgen. I suspect the NEI issue is just some index out of bounds deal (happened with Biomes O' Plenty too).

Sorry, no. Just one closed loop between the reactor and turbine along with one stand-alone water input to the reactor. Once you get the system going it really doesn't use that much water from the external water input.

I would at least try updating to this Thaumcraft Mob Aspects version: https://drone.io/github.com/Parker8283/ThaumcraftMobAspects/files
-
You need to make a closed loop. Return the steam from the turbine to the reactor.

Your pack is improperly packaged. It should contain only three folders: /bin/, /config/ and /mods/. The /bin/ folder should only contain the modpack.jar file. You should not be including the Baubles API. That archive is intended for use only by mod developers. You should be using the AE2rv2 Beta builds, not rv1 Stable Forge does not belong in the /mods/ folder. You have Voxelmap for 1.7.2. You should be using LiteLoader and Voxelmap.litemod. You have Magical Crops mod for 1.6.4. This won't work. I am unaware of a version for 1.7.10. You have Thaumcraft Mob Aspects for 1.7.2. This won't work. Your Realistic World Gen mod is from an illegitimate source. Forbidden Magic and Artifice have conflicting enchantment IDs. Address these issues and come back if you still have problems.
-
Yes, Fluiducts are limited to 120 mB/T. Are your tesseracts side-adjacent to the ports on the reactor/turbine?

Modpack completely downloaded, but redownloads anyway
plowmanplow replied to Seiklus's topic in Platform Pagoda
I can tell you from experience that there are fatal issues between that version of Thaumic Tinkerer and Thaum. Your call, of course. As for the mod updates, check the changelogs for the mods in question. If one of the updates addresses an issue you have had then it makes sense to update. if everything is working perfectly (very rare) on your end then, meh. -

plowmanplow replied to Seiklus's topic in Platform Pagoda
The download URL set in your pack configuration does not exist. The file you linked in your post does so I assume you incorrectly edited your settings. You have changed the download URL and/or archive, but have not incremented/changed the pack version number. The Launcher does not get notified of an update to the pack unless the version number changes. Your modpack.jar file is incorrect. As previously mentioned, it should be the correct version of the Forge universal binary JAR file RENAMED to modpack.jar. Don't extract it, don't edit its contents, don't recompress it. Just rename it. Outdated mods (just hitting the high points): Bibliocraft, Biomes O' Plenty, Chisel, All TeamCoFH mods, Thaumic Tinkerer (fatally incompatible with your version of Thaum), Waila, Witchery -

Your archive has a ".zip" extension, but is in RAR format. All archive files intended for use in the platform must be in ZIP format only. You should remove the string "(1)" (or any other number enclosed in parenthesis) from the mod file names. This occurs when a file is downloaded to a folder with an existing file having the same name and can cause errors. You have no /bin/ folder in your modpack archive. The /bin/ folder should contain one file named modpack.jar which is the correct version of the Forge universal binary JAR renamed to modpack.jar. You have the Artifacts API file in your /mods/ folder. This is intended for use only by mod developers and should be removed. Many of your mods are very old with known issues. You should updated to the latest versions which support your chosen version of Forge. Address these issues and come back here if you are still having troubles. -
Guide: Install Technic Launcher on Linux mint 17/Ubuntu 14
plowmanplow replied to Unio's topic in Platform Pagoda
Why would you recommend users to install Java 7 instead of Java 8? Java 8 works fine for all modpacks and is the standard towards which Mojang is pushing folks. -
You have Voltz Engine mod for 1.7.10. You also have no other mods which use that dependency mod so it should be removed. Most of your mods are from illegitimate sources. Any mods with the name formatted like "ModName-Mod-1.6.4.jar" are highly suspect as almost no authors name their mods like that. Always get your mods directly from the mod authors. Your /mods/ folder should look something like this: appeng-rv14-finale3-mc16x.jar buildcraft-A-1.6.4-4.2.2.jar ChickenChunks 1.3.3.4.jar CodeChickenCore-1.6.4-0.9.0.9-universal.jar EnderIO-1.6.4-1.0.6.376.jar EnderStorage 1.4.3.6.jar FlansMod-4.1.1.jar MineFactoryReloaded-2.7.9-final.jar OpenBlocks-1.6.4-1.2.9-snapshot-417.jar OpenModsLib-1.6.4-0.5.1-snapshot-214.jar PowerCrystalsCore-1.1.8-9.jar 1.6.4\CodeChickenLib-universal-1.6.4-1.0.0.62.jar

Check your /logs/fml-client-latest.log file. It should give you more detailed information about which mod is causing the problem. Also, you didn't provide the API URL. You just pasted the same link twice.
-
You could just use MineTweaker to remove them from NEI (trivial). There are so many things which need fixed using MineTweaker anyway that making those changes shouldn't be a burden. For example: # Remove broken items (or improperly indexed items) from NEI import mods.nei.NEI; NEI.hide(<Artifice:tile.artifice.oreredstone.glowing:9>); NEI.hide(<Artifice:tile.artifice.oreender.glowing:9>); NEI.hide(<flansmod:flansWorkbench:3>); NEI.hide(<flansmod:flansWorkbench:4>); NEI.hide(<flansmod:flansWorkbench:5>); NEI.hide(<flansmod:flansWorkbench:6>); NEI.hide(<flansmod:flansWorkbench:7>); NEI.hide(<flansmod:flansWorkbench:8>); NEI.hide(<flansmod:flansWorkbench:9>); NEI.hide(<flansmod:flansWorkbench:10>); NEI.hide(<flansmod:flansWorkbench:11>); NEI.hide(<flansmod:flansWorkbench:12>); NEI.hide(<flansmod:flansWorkbench:13>); NEI.hide(<flansmod:flansWorkbench:14>); NEI.hide(<flansmod:flansWorkbench:15>);

I made a modpack with nothing but Forge and it immediately crashes

The challenge you are going to run into with Forge is that around the #1350 range there was a major change to the way the Fluid registry functioned which required updates to many mods. Many of those mods (Extra Utilities, Tinkers' Construct, etc.) require a much newer version of Forge (#1384 in the case of Tinkers' newest builds). Without specific log date concerning what you feel to be mod errors (in a pastebin, not here) we would only be guessing.
