No it's not, but what does that have to do with Tekkit?
-
Delete your config files and force a redownload of tekkit through the launcher.
-
Are you talking about the infinite battery from Voltz? This isn't Voltz and Electric Expansion/UE isn't in Tekkit. Galacticraft can be downloaded from here; the download for build 186(1.5.1) works fine for me. If you can't download it, tell me.

Yep, everything is compatible with everything else. Though you might want to invest in higher-end engines, or at the very least steam. Edit: Just in case you were wondering, redstone engines don't transfer power to conduits.
-
Probably Herobrine. Also, I think you need at least a heavy-duty pick to break cheese ore.
-
Buildcraft conductive and phase pipes are borked across the board; you'd be better off using conduits and tesseracts. Several bug reports have already been posted along with numerous threads in the tekkit section.

Tekkit gets to Greg's Lightning, then starts, then crashes.

Das MCF thread. The research table is explained under the 'hints' section.

When was your world created? Maybe this is being caused by a change in config files after an update, though I don't even know if the config files are re-downloaded after an update and I sort of doubt such a thing would even cause this.

Applied Energistics essentially allows you to store your items in a network; enabling you to smelt/craft/retrieve on demand. I haven't really gotten into it, but a lot of people on this board swear by it.
-
You might be better off just smelting the ore rather than pulverizing it first, it nets you the same amount anyway. Plus, smelting ore has a chance of giving you rich slag, essentially a free ingot. Also you might try and use a white hopper as a buffer. Oh, and inb4 'L2P AE NOoB!!!!1!'. In all seriousness Applied Energistics is a pretty good mod, you might want to check it out.

As far as I've seen, I believe that's every natural ore in the overworld. Could I get a screen shot?

Try disabling your antivirus and running the launcher again. What do you mean it doesn't set up the technic launcher? It doesn't run when you double-click it? If that's the case, something must be blocking it. Try running it from the desktop, disabling your AV, and running it as an admin. Not necessarily all at the same time.

tekkit crashes after mojang with crash report pls help
Calvariae replied to wei0223's topic in Tekkit Discussion
Please don't triple post in other people's threads, it's bad for your health. Your problem is that two of your mods are trying to use the same block id; specifically id 960. Most likely you manually added a mod to tekkit, in which case remove the mod, load up a game, open up your inventory, click settings in the bottom left, and click dump list of unused id's; this will save a txt file in the tekkitmain directory. If you didn't add the mod yourself you'll have find an unused range manually. In any case, go through the config files and find out which mods are using the same id's, reassigning to a unique id when you find a conflict. Though, I'm pretty sure the conflict is between immibis and trade booth. Also update your java. -
Your best bet would be to use the particular mod's wiki until a proper Tekkit wiki is well under way. Or just use tekkit classic, tekkit lite, FTB or any of the other countless wiki's out there now; not all of the info will be pertinent but it shouldn't be too hard to figure out what is and isn't in Tekkit.

BigDig uses the Craft and Enchant mod. So anytime you enchant an item with an enchantment table, it'll give you 'Slot'. From there you choose what enchantment you want Slot to become by crafting and using different scrolls in conjunction with the magic table.
-
It should be in the mod's main directory, in this case ".technictekkitmainIDMap dump....txt". ninja'd

See if this thread helps.

See if this thread helps. Edit: Oh yea, and wrong section too.

You'll have to go through the mo' creatures config file that was generated and assign each block/item/entities id a value that hasn't been taken yet. Sounds annoying, but it shouldn't take too long; you can probably assume that each mod was assigned id's in sequential order by the tekkit team, so you only need to glance at each config file to see which values are already taken. Also don't use low values (0-400ish) those are reserved for Vanilla stuff. I haven't used Mo' Creatures in a while, but I remember kind of liking the cave ogres. They would stomp around and destroy all of the blocks that weren't ore; it made mining go a bit faster. They did end a lot of hardcore runs though.
-
I don't believe the pulverizer can overheat, the bar on the left is its internal power storage; the more power that is stored the faster it runs. Press 'o' to hide the NEI interface Mo' Creatures adds a lot of mobs to the game. Maybe check that out.
-
Find the MetallurgyCore.cfg file in your config folder and look for the line Change the value to false, and it should change the textures back to vanilla.
-
Yea, if you have a 32-bit browser you'll probably have to go to Java's download page and force it to download the 64-bit version.
-
A pulverizer will produce 2 dusts for every ore you place in there. Also it has a small chance of producing a 'bonus' dust. For example, an iron ore will always produce 2 iron dusts but there's also something like a 10% chance that you will also get a ferrous ore dust. Also the induction smelter will automatically produce 2 ingots from any ore, but if you supply it with rich slag you'll get a third ingot. NEI has all the information on what produces what in the induction smelter.

Minefactory Reloaded has some machines that should help you out there.
