  1. According to my unaltered TE config, coppers spawns between layers 40 and 75. Thus surface mining is pretty effective at finding copper, just walk a bit around (in-game) outside.
  2. Is it happening in new games too? How about creative? You might try backing up your saves, deleting ComputerCraft from the mods file and having technic reset the Tekkit pack. Do this by clicking on the little gear under 'Tekkit' while in the launcher. After Minecraft loads, close the client and open up your mods folder and rename ComputerCraft1.5.2.zip to ComputerCraft.zip. Relaunch Tekkit and see if it works, both in a new game and in your old ones.
  3. Which version of Optifine are you trying? Other people on these boards, including myself, have been able to get 1.5.1_HD_D1 to install and run just fine. Just open modpack.jar with 7-zip or winrar or something and drag-and-drop the contents of the unzipped optifine folder into the .jar. Should be good to go.
  4. Yea I'd hold off on BC energy pipes for the time being. http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/conductive-pipes-have-they-been-disabled.44610/
  5. Check what the Redstone Control is set at, if no redstone signal is being sent to the furnace set the control to disabled and it should start smelting.
  6. I just tested it out and everything appears to be working just fine with CraftOS. I don't know why the OP is having an issue, though the astonishing lack of effort shown by him makes me think this might not be a real bug.
  7. I just thought about it and I can't remember hearing any music in Tekkit either.
  8. Click the little gear under 'Tekkit', click 'Manually Select a Build', select 1.0.5 from the drop down menu, press 'Save'. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy.
  9. Remember that by default, conduits reduce the energy transfered by 5% every time energy leaves a machine/cell/whatever and enters a conduit; not that big of a deal but just something to keep in mind.
  10. Third Q/A here might help you. Also update java to the latest version (7_21) for good measure.
  11. A lot of BC pipes became borked in the last update, including phase and conductive pipes. Other methods of power transfer are discussed here.
  12. Might I direct your attention here and remind you that forums usually have a search function.
  13. Might I direct your attention here.
  14. The official github page if you wanted to post a bug report there: https://github.com/RebelKeithy/Metallurgy3/issues?state=open
  15. Your java is WAY out of date, you should definitely update that. Try the good ole fashion disable-antivirus/firewall-and-run-as-admin-trick and see if that helps.
  16. Disable your antivirus/firewall programs and try again. Also update java while you're at it.
  17. Redstone engines no longer can send energy through conductive pipes. It's not a bug, but a design decision. As for phase pipes, I believe all three are currently not working. There are already bug reports for those however.
  18. I haven't had an issue with combustion engines since I started keeping the engines, the pump providing the water, the water source, the pipes carrying the water, and whatever the engines are currently putting power into all in the same chunk.
  19. Okay, I'm going to make this really simple: the login you use with the technic launcher is the same login that you use with the vanilla minecraft launcher. If, however, you do not have a valid vanilla minecraft login, buy the game from Mojang's website or don't bother posting back.
  20. Running and jumping is where you'll see some real speed increase.
  21. You could copy and paste your save, but any items/entities/whatever that rely on the mods that are in classic but not in the new Tekkit will be deleted.
  22. You probably should have answered Arctanus' question. The correct standard version is 1.5.1_HD_D1.
  23. Your user account probably doesn't have the permissions necessary to run or install minecraft. Not much you can do short of violating the 'Technology Use Agreement' or 'User Agreement' or whatever your school has you sign/accept so you can use their laptop.
  24. Just noticed that there's currently a bug report at the APBC github: https://github.com/tcooc/AdditionalPipesBC/issues/55
