HAXXXX!! Have any of you had any problems with hack clients on Tekkit? So far I haven't. Not that I know of at least. I know this isn't easy to talk about for any of us, but someone had to point out the huge elephant in the room.

Also it's not a plugin. I tried to download it but it turns out it's built into Bukkit. XD

I got: mod_WirelessRedstoneAddons.modTickEnd with 80.80% modTickEnd with 15.90% modTickStart with 1.10% The rest are all less than 1%. Dafuq? Maybe someone who actually knows how this works internally can explain it to us... I can't believe Wireless Redstone uses more than MFFS which got 0.01%. o_O

Works for me. Which version are you using? I'm using AlienX's custom version which has some Tekkit-specific tweaks. Look it up on these forums. Btw, once you get it working, don't try to use //regen or any of the snapshot features. It'll f*** your s*** up and you'll end up with a chunk of grass in the middle of the desert like my server.

Me too... The internet isn't very eco friendly, isn't it? Take anything that streams static content like Youtube or Netflix. They should download the videos to your computer and just playback the cached version if available, and delete from cache after a few months. I've watched the entire Kyle XY series three times over since I have Netflix. How much data is that? I could've saved a third by using cache. Sure I could get it from Piratebay but then I can't use my little Sony thingy to watch it on my living room on our huge TV. They gotta make internet services more compact, IMO. Too much wasteful data flowing around.

Oh WOW. Never mind that post. Turns out I've been exceeding my cap for the past 3 months but those were my courtesy months so they didn't charge anything... Funny how I've had this service for over 6 months. Looks like they reset everything when I upgraded to the 50Gbps plan. 343GB on May 608GB on June 503GB on July So I would've paid $160 had it not been courtesy. Demo mode was added in Minecraft 1.3. Tekkit is still on 1.2.5 and won't be updated for quite a while. Once it does, I'm sure demo mode will still be there. PS: I love your avatar.

I think you should focus on getting one server running first.

I left µTorrent open for a whole night after downloading a movie. The next morning I got this: I run 2 MC servers so I always close it after the download is done, but I slipped this time... It's funny because I got a letter last month saying they increased my data cap from 250 gigs to 330 gigs. Before that, I didn't even know I had a data cap. Before Minecraft server hosting I did have µTorrent open 24/7 seeding and I NEVER ONCE saw this message. I would download gigatons of shit I don't need (and I still haven't bothered to unzip a lot of it) and I was NEVER informed of anything like this. Ever. Now I leave it on for one night and I suddenly hit 90% of my cap? What the hell? I've been running a public MC server for over a year so that's not the problem either. This is the FIRST time I see this crap. Anyways, my question is: when does Comcast ship out the bill, and how painful should I expect my death to be once my father sees it? EDIT: I can't log in because I don't know the password. Neither does my dad. He though I knew everything. Derp.

Holy mother of f***. How much did that system cost? I have to say I'm incredibly jelly if you, sir. My state doesn't have fiber so I'm stuck with 10mbits up. 1) I couldn't say exactly, but A LOT. 2) Get Essentials, WorldEdit, WorldGuard, and NoLagg. Those are the bare essentials to me. I don't normally run NoLagg because of its known past and present glitches, but it does have a useful feature that stacks items of the same type together which is VERY useful in Tekkit because it solves the dillema of overflowing pipes. 3) With 16 gigs of ram... no. I haven't heard of people using them to grief/crash servers but if you want to avoid this, disable these and enable the Dimensional Anchors which are new in 3.1.2 and have per-player limits. 4) I use Slackware on both my vanilla server and my Tekkit server. It works amazing, but you need to have at least some Linux experience. It's not the easiest distro to use. 5) I've been running a server for over a year on a 64-bit system and I've had no problems. Get Java 7 for best results.

Ohh, that's awesome. There was a problem in Tekkit 3.1.1 with the function that detects the number of items left in a slot that always returned the wrong number. Is that fixed as well? There was a patch for that one elsewhere but I can't seem to find it... I haven't tested if it's still broken in 3.1.2. The patch I'm talking about just replaces some Lua files.

I can't believe there's a patch for EE stuff, there's a patch for disk drive dupes, but there's no patch for mining lasers in explosive mode. Someone keeps griefing my spawn with this thing and I can't bring myself to disabling it because I use it myself regularly. I have AlienX's WorldGuard which fixes many other things but not this. I had CoreProtect for a bit but it just logs it as #explosion, without a player name. I downloaded an IndustrialCraft update from MCPC today (the r9 version) that claims to have added a PvP event for lasers or something like that, I thought that would fix it but it didn't. This is a very annoying situation and I'm sure I'm not the only pissed off server op. That's why I'm surprised there's no fix. Or am I missing something? Thanks in advance!
