  1. I know clicking an item to spawn it doesn't work without it. It says unspecified enchantment or some crap like that.
  2. I know NEI was busted in 3.0.4 with like 3 different dupe glitches. I just removed it from my server. The only reason I can think of to keep the server version is to spawn items easily but is there another reason? I don't really spawn stuff... Thanks!
  3. You must update your client to to 3.1.2. Some big changes: - the End has been enabled and there's a public portal at spawn. - quantumsuit armor has been enabled. All except the helmet which IMO is the most OP part of the suit. - updated to Tekkit 3.1.2
  4. I just wanted to say, I still love you. <3

  5. I'm not a Helen. I'm probated. Know the difference. XD Frontseat me... ;)
  6. Get NoLagg to eliminate the overflowing items problem.
  7. Not at all! You just seem like a Helen Keller overall. Posting in wrong place, bumping, etc. I think you deserve the honor. :)
  8. Tovarisch Torezu, I recommend we honor our guest with the most respectable rank of Helen Keller for demonstrating such interest and providing such a valuable contribution to our community.
  9. Dude... frak the coal ball method. Too much coal wasted. Make a scrapbox machine out of block breakers, recyclers and deployer. The one I have on my server gives me a stack and a half of dimmies a day. Along with enough food to cure world hunger on the server and loads of minerals too. XD My opinion on EE is: 1) Collectors: create shit out of thin air. 1 diamond a day with one collector and zero intervention. Maybe it's a day and a half but don't correct my math. Eliminates the need to do any sort of resource gathering. 2) Transmutation tablet: I don't have as much of a problem with THE IDEA of this item as I do with the rest of the mod because it's rather convenient, but you have to rely on how much the creator of the mod values an item. Like the other guy said above, uranium costs much more than diamonds which is gay. Maybe if it had a built-in system that diminishes the value of an item the more you transmutate it or something, but it doesn't. 3) Talisman of repair: repair items out of thin air. I thought, at first, that it consumed covalence dust but it doesn't. Just drop your tools in there, go to sleep, and you got fully repaired tools when you wake up. Eliminates the need to mine minerals to make more tools. 3) Fly ring: (whatever it's called) Eliminates the need for jetpacks, which actually need power or fuel to run (as of IC2 1.97 at least). 4) Tools: I never bothered with the mod long enough to get to the point where I could make dark or red matter, but from what I hear they're grossly overpowered and have infinite durability. Eliminates the need to make any of the other tools in the mod pack. Basically, it eliminates the need to use any of the other mods. You can do everything 1000 times faster just with EE. Conclusion: EE is for people who just want to build but want more of an initial challenge than just setting creative mode. Personally I like to play Minecraft to feel like I'm really alone in some island and I have to figure out how to fend for myself, suffer losses dearly if I die, and work hard for resources that are innately difficult to get. I lost the appeal for 'just building' around the time alpha came out.
  10. Questionable fascist military threats aside, you can't really trademark Tekkit because Tekkit itself is stepping into the copyrights of every mod it contains, all of which are stepping into the copyright of Mojang. If Notch were to ever stop being Notch, he could take down the entire Minecraft modding community into the internet black market. Take for example the Forestry guy. He has the right to say how his intellectual property can and can't be used. He insisted that Tekkit can't use Forestry, but Tekkit kept using it because he can't sue them. So he took the law into his own hands and planted a virus to MAKE Tekkit remove Forestry. So, don't worry about it.
  11. Nuclear reactor? Trololol. A mark 1 Energy Collector (first tier EE solar) can generate WAY more diamonds than a LV solar panel (first tier IC2 solar) hooked to a mass fab. That's my problem with EE. Shit out of thin air. I have this guy on my server who hooked up like ten HV solars to a mass fabricator that outputs diamonds. He has dozens of diamond chests full of diamonds. That is also creating shit out of thin air, but unlike the EE approach, it took him and his mates like 3 weeks to get to that point. On my first time playing Technic SSP, I got my energy collector after 4 hours of play... If I hadn't uninstalled EE I would be swimming in diamonds right now. Literally - I could have enough diamonds to replace the water in the oceans with diamond blocks. Who needs IC2, BC, and every other mod in Technic when you can get all the cool shit with EE in a minuscule faction of the time?
  12. Oooh, nevermind then. It's probably your permissions. I don't use PEX so I can't help you there. D=
  13. I don't know how accurate this is, but try building your rails & your big project really underground in the nether. I've always suffered from pigment blocking my railways (and making my cart explode with HS rails... ugh) until I built one at the lowest level. I've been using a high-speed rail system at layer 5 in the nether for weeks now and zero pigment have spawned on the rails or anywhere near them. =D
  14. I understand that EE is optional. What pisses me off is 90% of servers have it on so it's really hard to find a server without (which is the sole reason why I run my own public server) and it also makes players dependent on it. EE spoils the Tekkit player base because it makes it too easy to get resources quick, so "no EE" is a major turn off when it really shouldn't be. *sigh* I wish Sengir was in charge of EE...
  15. Get WorldGuard and then type: /stoplag /stoplag -c This will likely solve your problem, but it will also kill every farm animal in your world so keep that in mind. The plugin is called LagMem. Type /lagmem to see both TPS and memory usage.
  16. This and other instances of inter-mod compatibility violations is why I avoid EE like the plague. If you want EE-free infinite energy: 1) Build an array of block breakers and cobble generators for infinite cobble. 2) Attach output cobble to an array of recyclers. 3) Output scrap from recyclers into an auto crafting table that makes scrapboxes. 4) Send scrapboxes to a deployer that makes random items. 5a) Send useless shit like wooden tools back to recyclers. 5b) Send minecarts and gold helmets to an alloy furnace to be turned back into raw metal. 5c) Send sticks to a Generator to be burned for energy. 6) You now have infinite meat, infinite single-use bats, infinite slimeballs, infinite ores, infinite diamonds, etc.
  17. Same here. LOL. When I started with Tekkit I had an electronic circuit maker because it was the most painful thing to build for me at the time. When I got my first CT3 I tore down the machine. ;_;
  18. So you give them permissions to claimed land but not LWC blocks. Good until someone quarries your roof all the way down to the topmost chest. XD
  19. The server has to be 3.1.1 too. You probably have a 3.0.4 server, which is the recommended build (as opposed to latest build).
  20. I feel you, bro, but trust me, it's gonna cause more harm than good. I had NoCheat and Orebfuscator the first time I tried to run a public Tekkit server, and it just turns people off. Oreby is gonna cause tremendous lag for quarries and stuff, plus you have to configure it to account for every single Tekkit transparent block. And a lot of people will not play without jetpacks/EE fly rings. :/ So far I haven't had a problem with hacking. I've just had to deal with frakking glitchers (disk drive dupe & NEI dupes), but no hackers.
  21. Who uses NoCheat on a Tekkit server...? It has no way to detect jetpack/q-leggings use. It'll just call hax on anyone who tries to use them. Plus it causes many other problems. :/
  22. Wrong forum, wrong thread. But I can tell you one thing: don't bother. Tell your players to use MFFS instead. Factions doesn't do shit. You can just blast through walls with a mining laser.
