There is also that tiny little problem of the console using ancient HW where even MC-level stuff has hard time of running well. Adding mods that eat up additional resources would simply melt it.

Define "broken" in current context. For file hashing pretty much all of them work perfectly fine.

The title said it all, really.

Re: just wanted to show this to you Never even heard about the guy or the song. -
Actually it was released 9 years before that on 1987. Though I admit, one of the features in that first public release was MS-DOS support that was hacked on :)

Technically Nethack is not a DOS game :)

Also console gamers have been forced to tolerate insane lag for years (200ms from keypress to screen change isn't uncommon in SP games vs <50 for PC) so they likely won't notice how bad it really is.

I think thaumcraft 1 didn't have taint. If you want it you'd have to use thaumcraft 2, it's in the dev version. But be warned that dev = often broken and will kill your cat.

Finite Liquids Mod Support For 7.0.1 SSP Dev Build
hoho replied to jakj's topic in Modders Metropolis
In my defense I'm having way too much fun in my current world to try it Also considering the insane amounts of liquid I'm moving around having it slowed down doesn't really appeal to me. -
Yes, it supports ores by ID, not by their metadata that all Forge ores are using. Also, Forge ores are using different distribution methods than vanilla ores and Better Ore Distribution doesn't support hijacking that. You can read all about it in the last few pages of the mod's thread. The author said he will try to contact Eloraam to make it work with Forge ores as well but not before a week or two as he has exams.

Vampire? I thought she was reptilian http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread204650/pg1 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Icke#Global_Elite Though I admit that I'm not too familiar with either vampires or reptilians and I can't ignore the possibility of her being reptilian vampire. -
Easiest way is to take your PC to a computer shop and have them do it. If you need to ask how to do it yourself then you are not capable of it without screwing things up.

Re: Wont Open If you are so good then why haven't you told us exactly how the "doesn't work" look like with proper error logs and console output? Also, vs -
If you are writing that code in a .bat file then you can also just write "pause" without quotes to last line to keep the terminal open.

It will work, sure, but you'll be missing out on for example thaumcraft crystals and to get them you'd need to travel far enough to regen new chunks. So yes, it kind of works but is more trouble than it's worth.

Finite Liquids Mod Support For 7.0.1 SSP Dev Build
hoho replied to jakj's topic in Modders Metropolis
It's working just fine for me in 1.2.5* and it is opensource: http://www.mod-buildcraft.com/forums/topic/mc-1-2-5f-3-1-0bc-3-1-5-aps-0-2-315/ http://sourceforge.net/p/buildcraftaps/code/6/tree/ *) Haven't tried with Technic 7 but I'm running it in my hand-made mod collection that includes most of the core stuff in Technic. -
I'd love this as well. I've used some custom generators that do something like this but I've yet to find something that would also give half-decent ore distribution as having a 200 block high hill with ores still starting at 64 kind of sucks. Wedge is awesome but it doesn't store it's settings and after initial worldgen goes back to default (at least it did that a few weeks ago, perhaps it's fixed now). Combining Wedge with better ore distribution would be awesome but the latter doesn't support Forge ores.

What about FL bucket + empty cell -> BC water cell + empty bucket? Or am I remembering things wrong when I think that recipes that give you an item + empty bucket exist? -
Does it generate any log files anywhere? Have you tried running it (both launcer exe and .jar) from command line?

Main reason I love RP pumps so much is that they have insane range. I guess with finite liquids the range is as big as the pumped liquid pool is? -

This requires new chunks to be generated with proper blocks, right? If so then too bad, I'm almost finished with my 50x50x70 quarry hole in the ground where I intended to test how well I can drain the oceans with RP2 pumps and finite liquid would probably have been awesome there Also, does this work with just BC or with IC and RP pumps as well? I'll probably still make a test world to see how it works. -
