  1. and also Tekkit Lite != Tekkit like others have posted previously Tekkit Lite is old, outdated and not under maintenance any longer... So all the mods included in Tekkit Lite might be outdated aswell. Your Version of TE might not contain the Itemducts... Your Problem is probably solved by installing another modpack called Tekkit using the launcher
  2. I can see a redstone furnace, so TE might be in that pack, but would probably be outdated aswell... you might wanna take a look into the current tekkit
  3. yep, you're right Edit: corrected the value in my post...
  4. as a tip, do not use me drives for all the trash you get in massive amounts... connect deep storage units to your me-network using storage buses, configure the storage bus to only accept a certain material (e.g. dirt, cobblestone, gravel,...) as far as I know, even if no priority is set, such a setup will prefer the deep storage units if none of these items are in the drives... DeepStorageUnits have 2 advantages: -they are cheap -they hold 2B units of a set item Edit: corrected the amount of items a single DSU can store
  5. are you launching the correct .jar file? make sure you launch the tekkit.jar, not the minecraft.jar
  6. you can teleport fluids using a tesseract these things teleport Items, power and fluids... Edit: another way is to use an endertank.
  7. using a dsu you are able to store 2B in a single block so memory is not a problem... edit: and they are cheap
  8. also you can use the stored cobble to make singularities later
  9. you can also dump all items into a ME-Interface, that will most likely also solve your problems
  10. If the bug still works, you can also store liquids in a DSU using AE, but I won't officially recommend this...
  11. I still think the easiest (but not the cheapest) solution is to extend your ME-Network with a quantum field to your planting site and do it all in AE
  12. yeah, the batteries in the suit are making it really heavy... One Resonant Energy cell in your inventory will gain you 5M energy and they can be easily recharged. (I think this is even more than you can get when you put in the largest batteries) The normal solar generator doesn't do any problems, what Curunir is talking about is the advanced solar generator, maybe they fix this issue somewhere in the future, until then I wouldn't use it With the Cell in your inventory you won't have to look at your Power usage as 5M is really a lot... I think the Railgun is the best weapon the suit can offer, it doesn't destroy any blocks, it does a lot of damage and it's precise. On the other hand, it produces a lot of heat so be aware of this... Tips for the nether: use active Cooling, and put in a small water tank for emergencys... do not tinker the flight system in your helmet, let it stay on 0%, then the suit keeps height and you can adust it manually Armor doesn't stack > 10, so if you built the expensive energy shield, theres no need for any other plating then. Luckiely you won't have to salvage it, just set it to 0, it won't weight anything with this setting.
  13. ingame you can protect your stuff using strongboxes and later you can even protect the environment using mffs (thats for the already builtin mechanics in tekkit)
  14. if you want to spread your ME-Network over large distances, you could also use a quantum field ring (think it's called that, the one you need 2 quantum entangled singularities for) it can extend your network even to other dimensions
  15. you could also use AE to manage the items... it's faster and doesn't have pipes that can get stuffed... I would use a standard export bus to fill the planters. (this will fill the planters completely, but will stop when they are filled) does the redstone comparator work on the planter? (in that case you could try to trigger your itemduct by redstone)
  16. did you know, you can also use galacticraft rockets to escape an age without a linking book? This can be done in case DDoors is disabled on your server. If you get stuck in an age without any hardware (rocket, pad, fuel and fuel loader) it will be hard to get to that technical level...
  17. you can keep the blocks when inserting a collect module, the mffs needs a valid inventory on any side then
  18. if you are able to keep up the water-supply, you can also trash all those exceeding steam using a void waterproof pipe. But remember, as long as you don't have a closed setup, you have to supply insane amounts of water. This can be done with upgraded liquid transfer nodes (8000mb/t) you can also attach more than one Cooling-Port per reactor but the maximum water it can hold is 50000mb/t so the maximum stema you can produce with a reactor is also 50000mb/t
  19. I managed to do this with a combination of the block breaker and the transition plane. The thing is, if the parachest is picked up by a block breaker, it dropps it's contents, these can then be picked up by the transition plane (fuel is lost in this process) how to build: put a transition plane to the bottom where the chest lands (face up) place a block breaker at one side (facing the chest when it lands) build a cylinder 5-6 blocks high with 1 block air in the middle so the items can't spread to other blocks don't forget to connect inventorys / AE to the block breaker / transition plane
  20. how do you supply it with energy AND deuterium then?
  21. this happend to me in older versions of tekkit... which version are you playing?
  22. did you know, filling your quarry with liquid redstone has the same effect as if you use water, but it doesn't freeze and can be used in the nether
  23. as theres no oxygen on the moon, i can understand the concept that we are unable to illuminate the environment using fire (didn't try using a lighter on netherrack on the moon) galacticraft brings it's own torches you can craft with glowstone, these should light the place up...
  24. so when I read this correctly you're normally growing wheat on this, how much free space do you have to the top? I know it from other trees that they only grow if theres nothing within 2 fields of the center and they need a height of at least 10 blocks above the sapling.
  25. now you have to explain what directions you mean, as far as I know there are only 6 possible directions on a cube (of which minecraft consists) Edit: what you see in the fluid Terminal are rounded values (not sure if theres a tooltip on the fluid that tells you the exact value) on the cell itself, theres an exact value (works if you have formatted for one fluid per cell) For the calculation, you're right (1B = 1000mB)
