  1. upgrading is fine, but be sure to have backup power in place, at least to power your me-network (if you use AE) as soon as you break 1 block of the reactor, the power wents off immediatly also for bigReactors it seems the bigger they are, the more efficient they run, so you migth also want to upgrade your reactor and make it a bit larger...
  2. hmm hard task... i could automate minimum stones, convert these into diamonds, then make diamond blocks and then make singularitys ot of it (this might be a pretty good ressource sink ^^) but like I said, it's just sized to support that many lasers, I'm not running them atm ^^ Edit: you can also attach a turbine directly to the reactor, you'll have to finish the turbine from inside the reactor then PS: always use some kind of coolant inside the reactor, I for myself prefer resonant ender, just because I'm lazy...
  3. I'm powering 4 lasers with my reactor atm. but sized it to power a maximum of 25-27 lasers... so how does it work? simple, make it actively cooled and hook up turbines to it I'm producing a little bit more than 20kRF/t per turbine and using 1770mb/t steam for it. The reactor can produce a maximum of 50B/t (50000mb/t) of steam. You'll have to use liquid transfer nodes with full upgrades to pump water into your reactor (as fluiducts can't handle the flow rate). Then I'm using tesseracts to get the steam to the turbines. So I rather call the yellorium reactors to be useful even in endgame setups
  4. hmm seems as if I'm unable to find it atm, might be created under a topic like 'need help' (hate ppl when they do topics like that) also make sure you are in gamemode 0 (the game has some strange behaviors when running in gamemode 2)
  5. I think I already read a problem like yours, and as far as I remember, they managed to solve it... had something to do with the codepage I think I'll look out for that post...
  6. I think someone mentioned that you need to setup your peaceful table inside a nether-fortress to get blaze rods... did not try to create them using the fluid transposer recipie...
  7. make a tree farm and automate charcoal generation then use steam dynamos to generate RF this will serve you well till late mid game EDIT: assuming you have trees on your island...
  8. or you just let mffs build your circles xD
  9. tekkit lite and tekkit classic are different modpacks, with different versions of minecraft... power conversion is done by the conduits now they can output RF and MJ. not sure if they take mj directly haven't tried using the biofuel way lately, I went the big reactors way...
  10. I think the dedicated Server can be downloaded from their webpage. theres a configuration file that can be edited where you can configure your port... however, isn't is so that if you use hamachi, you get a new ip every time the connection is made? always a good idea is to port forward it in your router and use some kind of dynamic dns host to resolve your ip (this way your friends could save the adress )
  11. ohm this should already be the case... remember to configure the input correctly and that the signal may get to adjacent blocks... (but thats a general redstone problem)
  12. 1st, didn't read anything about early game quarry 2nd I still recommend tesseracts as the setup gets much more easy (even if they are mid-game) a buffer chest will always overflow (no matter the size of it) if theres only one duct extracting from that chest. The reason is the way the ducts are dragging Items out of that chest (it will always take the first slot that has an item in it and ignores the size of the stack) so if you want to make sure, that your chest never overflows, use 2 itemducts set to actively extract items out of that one chest... DSU's can be connected using itemducts, too and ofc, you'll need some kind of valid inventory to put the wanted stuff in (e.g. gold chest)
  13. It's not infinite, but you have to reach 2Billion Items to get a Problem with them
  14. if you have tesseracts, this will make quarrying really easy, just put one directly above your quarry and connect it with 2 cables on the receiving end you could put a me-interface and directly suck it into your network... I suggest attaching some DeepStorageUnits to your network which should take the common materials (e.g. cobblestone, gravel, dirt,...)
  15. my goal atm is building a habitable space station that produces all I need to live in it
  16. you could use a linking book to get back to the surface without dieing
  17. you could also make a flat world in mystcraft if nothing else works
  18. some disadvantages if treecapacitor will really work... 1. there will be a massive amount of entitys spawned (even if they now stack to 64 per entity) 2. your inventory won't be big enough 3. even an enchanted diamond axe will not be good enough to break it entirely... but I wonder what will happen if you connect a mfr machine to a few deep storage units... (wonder if it's able to break it entirely)
  19. Thought that, too, but we didn't found a place to configure restricted access...
  20. isn't it so that the damage applies as long as the pieces are in your inventory? I think you don't even need to actively wear it... Also, remember that the advanced solar panel can create massive amounts of heat (I think this is actually a bug) had no Problems since I salvaged that module out of the suit... Don't underestimate the water tank in such situations, as it can cool down your suit in emergency situations really quick...
  21. I would really like to know how you can get through the bedrock-level in survival mode...
  22. and it should also be mensioned that you can configure the access to your strongbox, so if you are playing on a server where it's allowed to take others stuff, this is a cheap way to protect yourself (also I couldn't find a difference between private and restricted access)
  23. or you can also configure external processing in your me-network I'll stay at the excample of smelting iron. You'll need: - Power supply - Redstone Furnace - ME-Interface - crecent hammer - itemducts - pattern encoder - blank pattern 1st, power the furnace, configure the furnace so it's taking items from the top and sending items to a side (if you have to use another side, you'll have to adjust your setup here ) place the interface on top of the furnace and connect it with the output-port of the furnace using the itemducts (don't forget to wrench the output side of the duct to output items) wrench the interface so an arrow appears in the direction of the furnace. now encode the pattern using the pattern encoder, place a piece of iron ore (or dust) in the crafting grid and place a finished iron in the crafting result and press encode. you'll get an encoded pattern (note: you'll not be able to use it inside the mollecular assembly chamber). instead, place it in the interface (theres a line for the patterns, it'll show you the item it'll craft then) connect the interface to your me-network and then iron-ingots show up as craftable materials...
  24. had no problems running a big reactor on my space station, but admitted, it wasn't sealed at all ^^
  25. if she's also unable to craft it, you should check if she started the right .jar-file... did you try to reinstall the modpack?
