  1. at least it seems somewhat effective if you lower all rods to 100% and only 29 to 90% then it burns an ingot every 2min. and still outputs 50b/t
  2. did some testing and I think the biggest reactor you can build is 32x32x32 heres the display (air cooled) for the simplicity of filling the reactor with coolant I used resonant ender: as you can see, this skyrockets the output ^^ so using a better coolant might still improve this (or a better rod layout) I also tried to actively cool that monster, but this seems to be capped at 50 buckets per tick: no matter how much I drag out of the reactor, the display stays at 50b/t :/ (used void waterproof pipes to test, might be the issue but was the same with a fluid void from extra cells...) but interesting thing is that this reactor is online just a few ticks and directly produces 50b/t and the output stays until it cools down to ~150°C
  3. haven't tried yet, but could a filler do the job for you? Also haven't tried mffs on reactor blocks yet, but if it works, it could be an option to easily add new layers to a reactor...
  4. Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:UsersRyanAppDataRoaming.technicmodpackstekkitmainconfigWirelessRedstone.cfg (The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open) I think someone mensioned to add the tekkit folder to your anti-virus as an exception... The above line looks to me as if something has opened the file while tekkit tried to access it... might be the problem...
  5. or for simplicity you could also generate yourself a mob-essence ocean mystcraft world and use a bc pump and a tesseract to pump the essence to another dimension (e.g. Overworld)
  6. did you install any upgrades to your power suit using a tinker table? The MPS itself is useless without upgrades
  7. Is it intentional that you can fill a deep storage unit with liquids? managed it using the following setup: a deep storage unit attached to the me-network using a storage bus, left the storage bus unconfigured. a liquid interface receiving some liquid (e.G. water) this will fill your dsu with water entitys but it seems a bit buggy, the dsu ui will tell you that theres 0 inside of it, if you break it and look at it in your inventory you'll see that theres actually something inside and if you leave it attached to your network and look in a liquid access terminal, you'll also see the right amount. If you take 1 entity directly out of the dsu, it will fill your complete inventory with entitys and drop a unlimited stack to the floor... Edit: can somebody confirm that? version 1.2.9
  8. is the server on the same machine as your client? Otherwise you have to connect it to the same hamachi network...
  9. I'm doing it the tesseract way... having a big reactor to produce steam and 6 turbines on the receiving end that use 1770 mb/t each (so the sending tesseract is receiving 10620 mb/t) this works just fine also you don't have to buffer the steam through your ae network and eventually overflow it that way... just produce nearly the steam you need and directly send it to the turbines... Tesseracts don't seem to have an upper limit in what they can transfer, but you must not connect them using fluiducts because they have those limits... Connect them directly and you should be fine
  10. the enderium cell holds 50 million RF (or 5M MJ)
  11. also exchanging all batteries in the MPS for an enderium Cell in your inventory saves you the weight and it holds 5M
  12. get yourself a jetpack or glider xD
  13. RMB = right mouse button ^^ but as you gave me the size you already know theres a configuration interface... About the redstone signal, I'm not really sure, but I think if you provide it a redstone signal, it deactivates the Dimensional Anchor... (have to test this) About the loaded chunks: I'll provide a screenshot when I'm home... about 2h from now... also, is there a limit of loaded chunks on the server you're playing?
  14. how is the dimensional anchor configured? User RMB on it... you might have to increase the size as it only loads 1 chunk in the standard configuration (when planted) I can confirm that any ducts are working fine with dimensional anchors on my server... EDIT: about the F9 functionality: if you press it a few times, you end up with an area above your head (far) and a few green or red lines to the bedrock from it. Theres a highlited rectangle, thats the chunk you are in. everything thats inside the green borders is chunkloaded, anything outside is not... Also you should use hardened energy conduits to power your quarry, otherwise it will run really really slow...
  15. Island biome - single biome - zenith phase - zero length - normal sun (single biome only if you just need the islands, if you want the biome generator to generate other biomes aswell, add at least 3 biomes and remove the single biome) and you probably want the "no weather" page you might need to try this a few times...
  16. is there anything that does not auto eject liquids?
  17. you could also ty to use conduits to onnect the machines, they should do the conversion from MJ to RF and the other way around. But yes, dynamos are the way to go in the new tekkit (or a small "big reactor")
  18. ^ this nearly killed my server as all pink slime (liquid) wanted to morph into pink slime (mob) at once...
  19. are the energy cells configured correctly? (open them with rmb and click on the gear on the right there you can configure input and outputs I think for the cells it is blue-dots = input and orange dots = outputs) some machines also want to be connected through energy conduits mfr-machines might count to that list... also the basic power supply in tekkit would be a steam dynamo, provide water and a solid fuel (e.g. coal, caracoal) and it produces energy (you can charge the energy cells that way hope I could help you
  20. can you activate the console in the launcher settings and paste us the error message?
  21. you can also connect your pulverizer with energy conduits to your energy grid (I would still recommend dynamos, as they don't explode...) lowest level on the conduits is lead, that transports 80 RF/t per connection so it is enough to power your pulveriser and most early game machines. Also you can convert these to hardened conduits later in game which transport 400 RF/t per connection...
  22. you could also use the quantum stuff from the AE mod to extend your me-network over long distances / other dimensions
  23. can confirm that, I'm actually pumping 10620mb/t through a single tesseract connection (6 turbines at the receiving part each running on 1770 mb/t steam) and this works just fine...
  24. as extra cells are now part of Tekkit Main, you can also use AE to move fluids. I don't really know how demanding this is on the server performance... but this way it's easy, as you just need to spread your ME-Network and forget about most other pipes...
