This thread should be stickied.... for its excessive sexiness -
You should post this in Bug Reports at the launcher subsection
-
Please make a Bug Report

Click O the letter, not the number
-
aha! You had to sneak and click on the side of the first crate that is placed!
-
It means go to the platform site and find the modpack and click the tab for "Discussion" and ask for help there. Or contact the creator directly if you can find his contact details.
-
You're such a negative nancy
-
then make the pack and put it on platform, maybe you'll be the new shining BlueXephos star, rising from the dust of history!

If you mean the cheat mode that gives you 64 of the item you selected on the list, you know you can change that to Recipe mode. This will only give you the recipe of the item/block you clicked. That's not really cheating, as there is far too many mods which I don't know how to create and many times I have to visit the mod site to read how things work, NEI saves some time by having the recipe ingame.

Please make a Bug Report in the launcher subsection

Anyone else having problems with storage crates? No matter how many I put next to each other they wont make a larger space
-
I'm glad you found that out by yourself, but if you have any further problems that wont let you use the launcher as intended then please use Bug Reports.
-
You need to post this in the Bug Reports. Remember to add vital information like: Java version and upgrade, OS, antivirus installed and log. Error logs can be found when clicking the Cog-Wheel button on the top right corner on the launcher window. Paste the content inside a quote or code box. If it's too long paste it on pastebin.com and give the link.

Well boo! Now I'll never find out what he meant by that "cheating" part. Any chance anyone could retrieve his posts? There was one part I found funny, something in the lines of "I would have to build all those parts myself". OP didn't want a modpack with awesome stuff and things to create, he wanted stuff to create things themselves. A modpack that plays itself. I think OP is lost, he should buy the FF13 instead of playing minecraft

There's a white bar on the top left on this forum, use that in the future in case someone already posted something relevant. In this case, optifine. click the >Link
-
Is this on the latest build?
-
There is no vehicles or guns added in this modpack, only the titans.
-
What about the other modpacks already on the launcher? Do they work? What antivirus do you have installed?
-
New awsome mods that would suit this pack
Munaus replied to gormystar's topic in Attack of the B-Team
Would be nice if you could atleast give a link to these mods and explain a little what they do. And how much block ID and item IDs they take And please read the >Forum Rules, signing your name is redundant -
I don't get this part, what exactly would you have to cheat? You haven't followed minecraft progress lately. The SSP as we knew it is gone, there is no actual singleplayer, since you are constantly playing an offline/online lan world. Everything is online now, that's why technic team decided to leave the word "technic" behind and change it to "Tekkit" to resemble the tekkit multiplayer that we used to call it back in the day. Also something you may not have considered: Millenaire consumes a lot of working memory on a PC. I know since I used to add Millenaire and a few other mods, 5 in total, in my custom modpack back in the day. I also remembered Kinniken being against anyone using his mod in a modpack, but I guess he changed that since I cant find any restriction on his site. Except for the written permission, of course

If you downloaded the latest build of the modpack there's really one thing to do: go play it! But remember to backup your world in %appdata% -> Roaming -> .technic -> modpacks -> Attack of the b-team -> saves -> Copy/Save the file somewhere else in case something crashes when you use certain items, as has been said in this thread, this modpack is a beta.

I remember seeing a clip of Simon playing that pack; battletowers, millenaire, fairies, vampires(?) and small zepplines over the sky going pew! pew! pew! every time they saw you. It looked fun, but I never took it serious, the pack was meant to be some kind of RPG with humour aimed for kids. You really want Hexxit, with a few mods from Attack of the B-Team on it. Or just play Attack of the B-team. AotB-team boring? Did you even try digging old fossils, reviving a dinosaur and let it go loose? Did you try Witchery? Did you try Darwins mobs? Did you try creating your own mob from dead parts, like a deranged frankenstein doctor? Don't let the pack pass you by by first glance, it really packs a punch of different and strange things, aiming for both tech and magic nerds, something that Yogbox could never deliver.

I only ever had the no sound problem if I ran Attack of the B-team offline. Strangely enough I could hear the waterfall sound as the only sound? (if near waterfalls) Closing the game and the launcher, connecting my computer to the modem and starting the launcher again in online mode gets me sound again. This only ever happens on AotBt, I tried Hexxit offline and it had sound.

What bits is your OS?
