I remember seeing a clip of Simon playing that pack; battletowers, millenaire, fairies, vampires(?) and small zepplines over the sky going pew! pew! pew! every time they saw you. It looked fun, but I never took it serious, the pack was meant to be some kind of RPG with humour aimed for kids. You really want Hexxit, with a few mods from Attack of the B-Team on it. Or just play Attack of the B-team. AotB-team boring? Did you even try digging old fossils, reviving a dinosaur and let it go loose? Did you try Witchery? Did you try Darwins mobs? Did you try creating your own mob from dead parts, like a deranged frankenstein doctor? Don't let the pack pass you by by first glance, it really packs a punch of different and strange things, aiming for both tech and magic nerds, something that Yogbox could never deliver.

I only ever had the no sound problem if I ran Attack of the B-team offline. Strangely enough I could hear the waterfall sound as the only sound? (if near waterfalls) Closing the game and the launcher, connecting my computer to the modem and starting the launcher again in online mode gets me sound again. This only ever happens on AotBt, I tried Hexxit offline and it had sound.

What bits is your OS?

Conflicting Mods (Tinkers Construct and Chisel)

Hi You didn't read the >Forums Rules, it might make some moderators sad
-
If you want to showcase your modpack, why not post it in Platform Potluck? That's where all the other modpackers are
-
The newest build will disable the tornados's digging blocks. I hate that, what's the fun if there's no danger? Which, of course, you can change in the configs. Bring on the weather!

9 out of 10 users who report in the Tracker are stuff caused by the users themselves. I've seen very little actually caused by, say, the launcher actually being derpy or a modpack crashing because it was made to do so. What are we even arguing about? That users should post errors in modpack sections rather than Bug reports section? Take that up with the forum staff, until they say otherwise I keep telling users they have to post in the relevant section(s).
-
By "user error" you mean caused by an antivirus, then yes, it is kinda, almost, a user error. That does not mean it should be posted here. Gameplay help and bug are two different sections. OPs post belongs in Bug Reports as it is not something that happened during gameplay. He cannot play the modpack, therefore, bug. Edit. edited stuff because I'm confusing
-
This does not belong here, please post in Bug Reports
-
Did you look around in a wider area? They don't spawn as frequently with vanilla spawn rate
-
You are indeed confusing, as is your title. Does singleplayer work? Does any other server work? Do all Tekkit servers give errors or only one?

The Inner Circle of the Cult of Ser'Ver of course! But I disagree with Valkon here, why go the tedious way of feed the baboon to distract the evil woman for the dagger when you can take the brute force-way. Manipulate the King of bears and you will get yourself a powerful ally! Yeah, let that sink in. King of bears or do menial tasks for the cloaked stranger who wont even give you epic loot! Nor will he join you! Force yourself in that Inner Circle! Don't be a wimp and a cloaked strangers errand boy!

This changes everything. Make a Bug Report

Might wanna post this in Bug Reports in the launcher subsection, we'll see what the issue is

Did you try to give 5 feathers to the old man and get the golden compass? Your father may warn you about it, but don't worry! Keep your avatar to one shape and let the compass guide you as it gives you visions to light your path to destiny. And watch out for the evil woman with the baboon, she's seriously evil.

About the dragon eggs: you can find one killing the dragon in the End dimension or as rare loot in dungeon chests, from what I've heard.. haven't found one myself yet

If you are serious I could hook you up in my little common fixes PM group? I don't bother anyone there unless there's a bug I can't fix. And thanks to this new forum software we can edit our posts in PMs now, preventing any needless bumping that'll send you junk email all the time. The few staff we have now is Skuli who updated Tekkit and now updates Voltz, CanVox who makes these awesome modpacks and Sct who improves the launcher and forum. Cheap does art stuff and the bluish moderators spends their time moderating the forum, so we definitly need people helping in the Bug Tracker. It's just me, Chefsbrian and Rcmaehl(?). I've seen a few others helping, I'm not sure if the majority thinks what you think. Because the devs are busy doing other stuff.

You did the right way. There are just so few people actually helping out in the Tracker. New users do it wrong when they see the words "Gameplay help and discussion" under the [modpack name] section, they believe the help translates to "post bug reports here". The difference? Gameplay help: my chickens wont follow me when I hold wheat! help! the thermalcraft furnace doesn't work when I use bucket of oil in it! help! Bug report: the modpack fails to download It loads but when I click play on mojang menu it crashes! People mix these two believing them being the same thing, which is why they ignore the bug reports section completely. To my relief, I'm glad someone like you has found a fix for this annoying CodeChicken config file thing. I'm going to refer users to your earlier post. Thank you

Please post in Bug Reports.

You have Balkon's Weapon mod, why you complaining? Though I admit those two should be switched between TiC on Hexxit. Balkons would make more sense in the RPG modpack than in techy modpack
-
You are confusingly mixing RAM and harddrive. I have yet to see a computer with 128gig RAM. That would be one behemoth of a computer... Cog is the top right button right next to the red X button on the launcher window Also, Bug Reports exist for a reason people...

I take it that this includes Mac users aswell? I've always been unsure on the Tracker when Mac users report errors with java 6. Should java 7 be a standard for both OS's, windows and mac?
-
.technic? The folder? Let's go over this again. You clicked the link I provided and you clicked on the windows button, I assume you have windows as OS, and a pop-up window asked if you wanted to download a TechnicLauncher.exe That's the file. TechnicLauncher.exe Not .(dot)technic that's just a folder, not the actual installer

You downloaded a file from this very website, correct? Where did you store that file?
