Technic launcher closes and re-opens on any modpack
EvilOwl replied to MadMikeGamerXL1's topic in Platform Pagoda
Yes it can. JDK ships a JRE with it. Psssst: there's a fix for the java 8 problems but this wasn't tested enough..... One of the Forge devs twitted it... Link- 6 replies

Hint 2 (update likely involved mods from the list) Edit: Try to downgrade Forge to 1208 for a test.
-
Hint 1: [21:25:58] [Server thread/ERROR] [FML/]: There was a problem reading the entry qh.class in the jar C:UsersJJxVortexDesktopServermodsfpsplus.zip - probably a corrupt zip

I need some help with making a mod pack using tekkit
EvilOwl replied to Qbush's topic in Tekkit Discussion
Oh boy. Here we go again.... Edit: There are tons and tons of guides on this. Read the Forge errors mentioning id conflicts and edit the config files so that every ID is used once in your modpack. -

EvilOwl replied to Qbush's topic in Tekkit Discussion
Just drop or replace the mentioned jars to the mods directory and fix any id conflicts. That's all. -
We don't really >know...

He also did a spotlight on the vanilla mod

Sorry. Mods often don't cooperate with plugins. Those two were only temporarily on my (small) server.

Care to share the crash log through pastebin? You fixed your issue by yourself so this is going to be out of curiosity. Edit: Opis 1.2.2 needs MobiusCore 1.2.1 not 1.2.2 to work in 1.6.4 so the log will not be needed after all..

I knew it...

Rise of the Machines: Showcase your tekknical achievements
EvilOwl replied to Curunir's topic in Tekkit Discussion
Not mine tekkit build but this needs to be here. Link (direct link to the monstrosity) -
Find your >crash-log and post it in the tracker. Be sure not to use java 1.8.0_20
-
Opis has a built-in map which can show the sources of block updates etc. this should pinpoint a force field gone wild.
-
Install opis + mobius core and run /opis as OP or install jdk and download visualvm, run it and pin it to the server thread, go to the Sampler tab and push the CPU button
-
Opis or visualvm

ForgeMulipart was updated and it's not crashing any more with any Forge version. I'm wondering about the TE3 update asiekierka said will get rid of the fluiduct bugs and maybe the dupe bugs in TE3 for a stable 1.6.4 version Edit: 4 days later Now I'm starting to think asiekierka is trolling big time.

Why do you want to store it. Just >control your reactor.

If you can log in with the standard Minecraft launcher you will log in with the Technic one. Remember to use your email in the login field (not the username)

EvilOwl replied to Amaxter's topic in Platform Pagoda
@chadow97 Your first problem is using java 1.8.0_20. Downgrade java. -
Thanks for clarifying this. Now I can see the big picture.
