  1. Has anyone else come across Pokemon Twilight? Don't worry, it's nothing to do with Stephanie Mayer's less-vampirish-than-count-chocula stuff. Unfortunately, it's only for PC, but... http://pycosites.com/pt/
  2. I win. And you know the really annoying thing? My mother refuses to switch to a different provider because she likes the ISP we have now. We can't switch to most other providers because the problem is with our house's cabling. The one we can switch to has just upgraded the local switch box to give minimum of 15Mbps, with an upper limit of 40Mbps. The package I want to switch to is only £5/month more expensive, and is uncapped. They also claim that they will upgrade the cables to our house for free. In fact, it may even be cheaper because we'd be putting all of our communication stuff with one provider. And yes, while BT apparently doesn't have the best customer support, it's probably better than "I don't know what the problem is, sir. Try talking to our sales team." "I don't know what the problem is, sir. Try speaking to our tech support team." "I don't know what the problem is, sir. Try talking to our sales team." "I don't know what the problem is, sir. Try speaking to our tech support team."
  3. Call me a nerd, but probably the Wolfram|Alpha thing for Chrome.
  4. Are you sure you have the right game? I think you might be getting it mixed up with ME3.
  5. I code in the shower. OFC, I'm not actually at my computer, so not typing anything, but I can get some brain-work done there.
  6. Woah! Hold your horses there, link! You can't ask another question until he's said "Yes"!
  7. Re: JAKJ's Tweaks For Technic SSP 6.0.7 - "Fair Trade" 0.0.0.0 All-In-One! I believe the name comes from Thor's (the Norse god, not the Marvel comics character) ability to keep his hammer on him at all times - unless he was too drunk/stoned/lazy/stupid/whatever to do so. Something to do with it growing and shrinking to suit the situation, I seem to remember Mjolnir could at times be hidden inside his tunic, and at other times be a huge great battle-hammer-axe-club-thing.
  8. 9. I can't, I have an adblocker getting rid of avatars. However, it does show me pictures of cats instead, and seems to think that you are wearing a melon on your head.
  10. Nah, it's common. IIRC, Eloraam said it was something to do with chunk generation code, but it may be fixed sometime in the future.
  11. The Forge ore dictionary will do that for you, you don't need to bother.
  12. I think you said you'd fixed it, but I don't speak...whatever that was.
  13. It could have been that he got you and Jay? mixed up. Not certain, but pretty sure.
  14. Bit of an obvious question, but are you sure you are using TC2, not TC1?
  15. nope.avi Doesn't work with a 32-bit OS, does it now? @OP If you are using a Windows OS (which I reckon you probably are), then do as follows. It's a bit long, but it shouldn't be too hard. I've made them as foolproof as I can, but that's just because I know my instructions can be hard to understand sometimes, not because I think that you're stupid. 1) Open My Documents. In the bar at the top, delete My Documents and type %appdata% . Press Enter. 2) In that folder, delete .techniclauncher . 3) Run TechnicLauncher.exe . Wait for it to finish downloading. 4) In the %appdata% folder, there will again be a folder called .techniclauncher . Open it. 5) Inside there, there will be a file called technic-launcher.jar . Double-click on it. Do not open it with WinRAR. I advise making a desktop shortcut to that file, it's quicker. Also note that you only need to do steps 1, 2 and 3 once. When the launcher updates, just run TechnicLauncher.exe again. This will get any updates that are necessary, and you can just continue using the .JAR as normal.
  16. Try deleting the lastlogin file in your .technicpack folder. Sometimes works.
  17. That amount of RAM isn't really high enough. http://canihostaminecraftserver.com/ Test stuff in there, but remember that technic needs much more resources than vanilla. Also, the map will get 4X bigger in 1.2 +.
  18. If you get this problem, then you already have something using that port. It's probably a minecraft server, and you may not have stopped the server properly when you last closed it. Save and close your client. On windows, press CTRL, SHIFT and ESC, then click "processes". Close anything that is called java.exe or javaw.exe.
  19. But then, there are some games that gave you stupid bonuses for preordering. For some reason, Kingdom of Amalur, Space Marine and some game that TB did a video about (it gave you spiky glove things that could one-hit most early-midgame enemies) come to mind. Wasn't there something up with ME3, as well?
