It's catch 22. If you post in a really old thread, you get shouted at for thread necromancy. If you create a new thread on the matter, you get shouted at for not searching/ not using the existing thread.

There's no way to fix this, it's caused by the sheer amount of items it has to search for to check the name you enter. Each time you type a letter, it needs to check through the entire list of items to see if any of them match up with what you're searching.

I'm contemplating whether or not citing ED is a bannable offense personally.

It's largely because of services like adfly, and the absolutely pants on head retarded operation of MCF that encourages all the bullshit copyright asshattery. Also the fact that any time anyone who uses Technic tries to voice our side of the argument, the post gets deleted. You don't see me deleting every post that consists of nothing but Technic hate. As Cheap and Kaker have stated, this forum and website is pretty much the only place they can talk about Technic without being censored, which means that our reputation will remain at what it is.

Yeah, the newer versions of BC have facade blocks that can be attached to pipes to conceal them inside walls and the like.

First of all, Minecraft Forum is about as official as we are, so what Curse has has absolutely fuck all to do with Minecraft. Secondly, plugins and tools are very different from mods, they require no modification of Minecraft's code, which mods such as Forge and Modloader do. Third, any modder who tried to take us to court for illegally distributing their mods would be laughed out of the room. Fourth, you claim to be "bigger" than us, whatever that's supposed to mean, yet you come here and make a post that's full of thinly veiled insults. You don't see "us" going out and spamming other forums with shit do you? This isn't Minecraft Forum, we don't censor people who disagree with us.

Ok guys, in future, shit like this comes up, just report the guy and move on. Responding to shit with more shit just makes everyone's life more difficult.
