I don't know why but I can't stop thinking that I can see the youtube savvy (not me, not a single video posted yet) banding together for some kind of "Save Technic" livestream if the site ever reaches critical loss. Not very relevant but just what comes to mind. I am sure they will find some way to provide a supplementary source of support the sever if when the time. Word of advice: never say you "program HTML" as bands of geeks will come out of the woodwork to bite your head off. Kinda funny to watch them go at it though. Google it so see what I mean. My favorite screw up what when I was messing around with infinite loops in Batch using the CMD window of a Windows XP and coded something that opened new windows, then it got out of control and I was unable to stop it as it ate up all the memory on the system and I had to hard reset and pray I didn't just wreck a school computer. That program would launch them faster then I could kill them, also I only knew alt-tab and not alt-shift-tab.

If they did that I hope they would still offer the current was as well. My college got sued by the RIAA and blocks any and all p2p and torrent services. Have to get a patch to get WoW to install properly.

That makes sense. It a modded spoutcraft launcher but not spoutcraft modded Minecraft. Good to know, I hadn't actually thought about that.

Yeah I have noticed a lot of the useful stuff from BTW has more efficient counterparts in this pack anyway (like small wind generator blocks rather then the huge windmills). BTW was meant to fit with vanilla Minecraft since it was supposed to be "The update notch should have done instead of adding wolves". BTW was about adding new mechanics and some basic tech ages to MC, Technic/Tekkit is about adding magic, technology, adventure, and efficiency to MC, and the Yogsbox is about adding an epic adventure feel to MC. But half the fun of this place is making fun of them after helping the intelligent people.

The new Launcher is actually spout based (based on the spoutcraft launcher I believe). But I don't know if it is compatible.

It might not work for other things though, computers don't like when they think they go to execute something that requires a 64-bit version and get a 32-bit one in return. I really don't know that much about java and the the differences in the 32 and 64 bit versions so I can't tell you if or when it will break.

It should be. Technic + BTW is a recipe for some delicious drama kake. BTW doesn't play nice as FC has openly admitted. He also doesn't like the pack. Just check the fan art page of the main site. Also this has been posted around these parts before. Give "Technic pack Better then wolves" a Google for bonus content.

I am from the USA, some of us use Hemp for ALMOST EVERYTHING. BTW does have some nice things about it and I think FC has said some smart things on occasion. It would be nice if everyone could just get along and we could have some awesome mod compilations and none of this pointless drama. If anyone would still need drama I know where to get a loads of hilarious drama.

True. Though the fact that Tekkit SSP is both unsupported and likely very buggy does add that extra bit of challenge he wanted.

Wow... I heard of people pushing their computers so hard the CPU melted but never so hard the all there virtual electronics if a video game just exploded. I wish you have video of it XP.
