I was installing the lates version of technic, and my facepalm almot got to through the head status, this is the error I got, I did not modify it. java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Slot 169 is already occupied by buildcraft.silicon.BlockLaser@468264 when adding buildcraft.factory.BlockAutoWorkbench@11a9433 I checked the config and seriously saw this: autoWorkbench.id=169 laser.id=169 seriously technic team?

Oh god, whoever was trying to help you with this are not used to how stupid people are here, when you download technic launcher, YOU USE THAT TO LOAD THE MODDED VERSION! It is pretty obvious what you did is download the launcher, run it, and then wonder hwy when you run the normal minecraft launcher, none of the mods show up. for example, open up technic-launcher-latest.jar, wait for it to start, select your modpack, enter your login details, and then click login. WOW! IT JUST MAGICALLY WORKS!

First of all, get rid of AVG and see if that works. The paid version of AVG is worse than some free programs out there.

well, with the way minecraft world deletion works, you are pretty much screwed. Try throwing that mod you found into the .techniclauncher\technicssp\mods if it goes in your mods folder, or into the .techniclauncher\technicssp\bin\modpack.jar if you are normally supposed to install it into the minecraft..jar

hmmm, I see now. Very interesting problem. I would suggest that the minimod idea is done, it seems the easiest.

I got this idea after I saw some mods that were making me explode from the awesomeness, but VERY few people knew about. Yes, a lot of them are from the guy who made Wedge and Kataminey Damacraft. Grey Goo this is an AWESOME mod. it reminds me of the bacteria mod, and the blue goo mod made by eloraam. It was originally made the wedge guy, but is now managed by another user. My only complaint is that the textures or both ugly, and disturb the shit out of me in highly consumed areas. VIDEO Phyzzle only updated to 1.6.6, sadly, but it is worth the backdate. It layers the jbullet physics engine into minecraft. SERIOUSLY. This is a must see, even if you don't want to use it, or backdate. VIDEO MADS MADS is an acronym for Minecraft Advanced Destruction System. Unfortunately, the textures are terrible, or nonexistence, and another mod originally made by that wedge guy. His programming skill, it rivals Eloraam's. The current 1.2.5 update is unofficial, but still awesome. VIDEO The Runic Dust Mod holy fuck, this mod is amazing. It defies words. just watch the video, it will make more sense. Also, the video is a direwolf video. VIDEO I will add more as I find them, or as they are suggested. I really just wanted to get these mods out there, they really are awesome.
