I notice of how you were dissing most of the arena shooters, but then you referred to tremulous as a "Beast". Tremulous is a win, it's obscure nature also typically keeps really young idiots away. kill most people on that game, and instead of raging, they will congratulate you for a nice kill, go into spectate mode to see how you did it, or see if they can counter-kill you. It is so much better than the hate-spewing 5-year olds of CoD

how on earth could you only use THAT Beast only for those purposes? It would be like building your own, custom built, 300 MPH capable car for driving to the store and back.

My Punishment: I spent from about 3 in the afternoon to probably tomorrow trying to fix it. I had gotten quite a few OS-exploding errors on windows before converting, except none of them were my fault. They were all due to a virus, windows deciding that deleting explorer.exe was a brilliant idea, or telling task manager to close one process, only to find several other exploding. I have never had errors out of my control of that sort on linux.

i got a pretty good down speed, and a cruddy up speed. my Ping in most games is terrible, and this speedtest is from a wi-fi connected computer. EDIT: faster than 56% of the US, not bad. IDK why my ping was so good here, normally it is really bad. Here is a result from pingtest.net: my house is wired for fiber-optic cables. might be part of the reason. 10 GB games on steam take around 2 hours for me to download at 1/mbps with frequent jumps, and i torrent files at about 1/mbps, with occasional drops. I am going to post the results from my school, probably will be terrible, pages take 5 seconds to load in chrome *barf*.

by arena shooters, are you referring to a game like tremulous? that is the only one i have found that is good, and I spend hours playing it sometimes. Certainly more time then i have spent playing some paid shooters i have gotten

A ton of people get the idea Covert HATES technic when he says he doesn't help technic users, but he just means that he is tired of having to deal with problems that weren't caused by him, and he has to attempt to solve them.
