Like the majority, my native tongue is English. And yeah, I've had 4 or so years of German (Two of which playing a few MMOs purely on German-speaking servers because the English ones were too crowded and filled with annoying people), so I'm relatively fluent. But don't expect me to start writing and translating it if some idiot posts in all German. Google translate is there for a reason and I'm a grouchy, lazy man who doesn't like doing things for others when they're perfectly capable of it themselves (For those who immediately post in the language someone says they know for no reason).

Try allocating less RAM? If you're allocating all the RAM you can and it freezes randomly then usually allocating less RAM (You have to find the right amount for whatever reason, everyone's computer is different. More RAM does not always mean higher FPS and performance) helps.

In fact it looks like lots of things have been reverted to vanilla textures, or a 32x version of vanilla textures. Second edit: Never mind, some things look shiny, new and 32x, and although I preferred the old (0.5) nano armor, things are still looking great. Good job. :)

I fail to see the point of this 'discussion' thread. It's obviously meant to be bait for someone to derail it into a flame war. In any case, I see theamazingatheist as the polar opposite to The Femitheist. Both are extremes in opposite directions (Neither of which would work, as it is with all extremes and extremists), both have hate for the other gender, and both misrepresent the larger moderates of their 'groups (ie Femitheist 'representing' feminism and theamazingatheist 'representing' atheism).' I'd go into more detail, but honestly I don't see the point of it. You can research yourself and find my reasoning, and I've stated my opinion (And you don't need basis for an opinion).

I would imagine it'd at least be annoying to him, if not hurt the tick rate of his server if it's frequent enough.

Alternatively, find the End Portal, secure it from intruders (ie. Build an impenetrable (To others) perimeter around it, add reinforced stone to make the portal itself nuke-proof, and build your base in The End! If you're the only one who can access it, it's invulnerable to nukes unless your plan on trying to kill yourself and destroy all your hard work. And if that's the case, just don't nuke your damn base. Also gavjenks, people might yell at you for double posting. Use the edit button to avoid that.

Frankly I like the arrows. The GUI doesn't need to be special and unique for each and every machine - simplicity and blending are what I like, and that arrow works.

I eagerly await any progress you two make! So far everything's excellent and blends naturally/realistically without looking gritty or overdone. This, even as WIP, is the best Texture Pack on these forums. I'd offer to help in any way I can, but honestly I think the most I can do is just sit back and let you guys do your thing at your pace. I believe it has to do with Industrial Craft 2. It should be fixed in the next update, IIRC. For now, don't worry about pointless shiny badges a game gives you to encourage you to keep playing. Also, this wouldn't go in the launcher section. It'd go in the section of whatever game you were speaking of.

Errm, what? Do you have basis for this claim? Quotes, videos, evidence? Anyways, I don't know why you're so dead set on eliminating Equivalent Exchange forever. If you host a server, disable it (Or the parts you dislike). If there are like-minded people out there, they'll join your server and you'll gain popularity. If enough people think like you do and are on your server because of the lack of EE, then maybe the Technic Team will see a common denominator. However everyone has their own style of play, their own goals, and their own talents. Because my style of play is different from yours, I don't think your style should infringe upon mine either (And upon my private server). If EE on servers infringes upon your style of play, disable it on your server, or play on others that do not have it enabled. But don't claim that it infringes upon how others play the game, then try to change how I play Minecraft.

Lag has to do with your computer and its specs. If you overwork your computer and it can't handle it, you get lag. Try the graphics settings to help. Also, wrong section.

Who seriously has time to waste unsuccessfully trolling the mods of a forum? Their power is absolute, their discretion is unquestioned. It's like someone finding their favorite brick wall and bashing their head repeatedly whenever they're bored. There are better things to do, and it's only interesting for the people watching.

I still haven't received mine either. I'm stoked to see what I can do in my awesome jet-black-plus-leather-plus-red suit - although I haven't made any decisions on what I wanna do.

We were asked to drop Sengir and the whole Forestry thing a while ago, IIRC. Forestry's gone and won't be coming back.

Just throwing this out there, anyone who believes anyone is unentitled to an opinion on anything really shouldn't take part in this discussion. Modder or not, we all know what respect is, how to receive it, and how to give it. We all can (As humans) educate ourselves on literally any subject too - so if anyone claims I'm (Just an example) unentitled to an opinion on modding or respecting those who do mod simply because it is not my hobby/job/what-have-you, they aren't going to push this discussion in the right direction at all. They don't know how much modding I've done to my own Minecraft, nor what I know about it other than what I've released to the public (Which is nothing). ...Not claiming anyone has, but if anyone gets that in their head, they're likely to get a swift kick in the pants. EDIT: Put Lothos's quote in context.

I think the ores on a smooth stone texture would look nicer than the 'normal' stone texture they normally have - the smooth stone in this pack is much better. :)

There is a section just for Tekkit Servers, called Tekkit Servers, right underneath the general Tekkit section. In fact, it's dedicated just for servers looking for players, moderators, admins, and whatever else!

Isn't Full Frontal Assault upcoming? I'm kind of looking forward to it, especially if it implements the Galactic Rangers-esque Tower Defense from UYR.
