yeah, I know. the problem is that you didn't even spell it right in "l33t". l4n would be "lan"not "learn". l34rn, 134rn, 134|2n, and 134|2/\/ would all be acceptable, but you didn't do that. either way, still a terrible way to try and grammar nazi someone.

I bought it for my phone. it's pretty neat.

the consoles are like, 7 years old now. it's not like their hardware has gotten any better. the main reason though is that there is no java VM for xbox, and there never will be most likely. ditto for PS3. no VM means no java programs can run, end of story. edit: also, please note that taunting the mods is still a really bad idea. contrary to popular belief, all of the mods here on the forums are more than capable of running rings around anyone stupid enough to try and "troll" them. that's right little johnny, even the female ones. the cooties don't impair their mental faculties like you think.

oh, I almost forgot to mention the one thing I did regarding CoH that might ring bells for people. I made a video where I took a short clip of the CoV trailer, and put the "alright chums I'm back, let's do this. leeeeeeroooyyy jeeennnkkiiiinnnsss" clip over it. in fact, here's a link to the copy I still have hosted. one of my first forays into video editing. edit: and if anyone wonders why I'm not just linking a youtube clip, youtube wasn't a thing at the time. I'll upload it if anyone really cares THAT much. though I'm sure someone else has already done so, based on the continued traffic the file has gotten over the years

I am sad to see it go as well. while I didn't play as long as neowulf, I did play for a few years (maybe 4 in total?). it was a great game with great players. it was also the first time I had maxed a character in an MMO. turns out, kinetics defenders are really, really good. I ran more respec trials than I care to count. I buffed the blasters placing land mines for wolf herding. I farmed CoT portals. I was also there for the creation of the "kill skuls" meme which later became a badge. being a player on justice, I was also around for the amazing "jerk hackers dupin rares" thread, which is probably still stickied in the justice server subforum right now. what I'm trying to say is that it was a game I really liked and will always remember fondly. the people that I still sit around on ventrillo with to this day are people I met in my CoH supergroup. we've known eachother for like 8 years now give or take and I've even had the pleasure of meeting one of them in person, which I never thought I would do. he'll be attending my wedding next year as well, which is even more weird. the game didn't have the most amazing mechanics, or the least grindy gameplay or anything. what it did have though was a fantastic community of really great people. no other MMO since has managed to create a player base nearly as friendly, enjoyable, and mature.

why do you even want to do this? increasing the process priority usually does pretty much nothing for you, and if it does then you should proably not be running 15 other CPU demanding apps at the same time. maybe you should wait for your video to render or whatever before playing minecraft? more on point, I don't know of a way to default an exe to high priority if the program doesn't do it on its own.

two different houses makes me think you have a laptop, is that true? are you connecting via wifi? if it's a laptop, what's the make and model? what OS are you running? is the wifi secured in any way? if so, is it WEP, WPA, WPA2, or something else? what was the problem that just got fixed? how was it fixed? what's your opinion on sand as a metaphor in general? why is a duck? are you sick of all the questions?

launch was not flawless, but as of this post the majority of the issues I was experiencing appear to have been fixed. I never had connectivity issues, but I ran into the party related bugs quite a bit. also the whole mail system giving me grief was unfortunate. however, both of those things seem to be fixed. overall I would say that it was a good launch, and they handled the issues they had well. the servers only went down for a while once and other than that the game was completely playable. really enjoying it so far. I am not disappointed.

making a "cracked" server entails changing a single value in the server properties file from true to false. it's not exactly amazing. as others have said though, there's nothing inherently wrong with hamachi.

world anchors do work in the current version of tekkit. either one will do the job though.

if anything, it will may give a lot of modpack haters pause, due to the fact that the people behind the FTB pack are well known and cannot be cast as "illegal" or "not legit" nearly as easily as kaker and cheapshot can be. at that point, if modpack a is ok, why are modpacks b,c, d, and e not ok? I'm not under any illusions though that the discontent and hate will simply refocus to some other aspect of the pack instead though most likely. in the end, I think competition is always a good thing for the end user.
