If you've got 8GB, I'd allocate more than 1GB to Hexxit. 1.5GB-2GB seems like a more reasonable amount.

You have to enable it on both the client and the server configuration file. Also, I believe you have to be an Op to use that feature, but that might be another setting you can change in the config.

Before I was having you issue relative commands, assuming you changed to the proper directory. If you quit terminal, opened a new tab or window, the relative command may not have been effective. Here is the command again with absolute paths: sudo ln -s /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/Current/Commands/java /usr/bin/java If that doesn't work, go ahead and reinstall Java 6: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1572?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US We may still need to fix the symlink, I'm not sure if that installer does it for you.

I can, but it can be complicated. There isn't a simple uninstaller, you've got to remove the .jdk directory from the computer, and in some cases fix the symlink to point back to the correct install of java. If you had Java 6 on your system already, and you installed the Java 7 JDK from Oracle, it should be a simple matter: 1) Open /Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app 2) Type: which java 3) Type: ls -la /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines 4) Type: ls -la /usr/bin/java Respond to this thread with the response to each of those commands (2-3) and I'll see what I can do.

Run hexxit.jar instead of minecraft_server.jar. Better yet, launch the server using the launch.bat or launch.sh file.

If so we might just need to reverse the steps I recommended there, and point the java symlink back to the java 6 installation. Try this: 1) cd /usr/bin 2) sudo rm java 3) sudo ln -s /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/Current/Commands/java java 4) java -version

I was reading through the MCF threads for Enchanting Plus and Falling Meteors Mod and it seems the XP exploit in FMM is being addressed in later versions, and mss0din said that the option to enable unenchats via configuration should be returning in later versions of Enchanting Plus too. Until then, I'ma stockpile enchanted gear for the inevitable orgy of unenchanting once those mods have been updated. I'll try and find the source to quote later.
