Don't you think that information should have been included in Post #1? You're using an non-technic application to launch a technic modpack. Have you tried playing the game on your computer using the TechnicLauncher application, loading the Hexxit modpack to see how stable that is on your computer? Establish a baseline, work with what is supposed to be working correctly without crashing, then start changing it to tailor to your own needs.

I never knew about that! You'd think that would be one of the default options for minecraft server batch files or shell scripts. Any idea why it wouldn't be the default? Maybe servers with a lower amount of RAM and slower CPU would see increased CPU load, so it holds off until it absolutely has to and then dumps when it runs out of memory? I get Skeleton, Zombie and Creeper heads at random. I've never seen passive mob heads drop, but maybe its just because I'm not slaughtering them wholesale like I am hostile mobs.

More than likely you do not have enough bookshelves around your enchantment table. What does the max level say on the enchantment table GUI?

Thanks for the info, but this has already been reported several times now. Agreed, it is pretty tempting to gain fat stacks of XP, I'm hoping the author of the Fallen Meteors mod can figure something out to work around this exploit.

Now who is being defensive? You asked me a question and I answered it. I can't be responsible for any tone you might infer because of the system you are reading these threads in. I posted a topic in the Hexxit Discussion board, because it was relevant to Hexxit and I felt others might benefit from the information. Hopefully, the Technic Devs will see the post and fix the issue in NEI making this information redundant. Until then, the thread exists should one search the board for it. I agree with your last statement, it does seem like a majority of the threads on these forums are people begging for help reading crash logs, or explaining why their modified server isn't behaving the way they want it to. I ran across this today building the stub for the BetterStorage page on the official Hexxit Wiki. As the thread title says, the recipe for the key is not in NEI. To craft this key, you'll need 3 gold ingots and 2 gold nuggets arranged thusly: GN GI SP GN GI SP SP GI SP GI being Gold Ingot, GN being Gold Nugget, SP being empty space. [Edit: Adding key duplication recipe as well: GN GI SP GN GI SP OK GI SP Same as the standard key recipe, except you place the Original Key (OK) in the bottom left corner, and the resulting key should be a duplicate of the OK. Both the OK and the new key are retained, the OK is left behind in the crafting grid similar to recipes that need Milk Buckets.]

Green slimes seem to spawn far less often, but I still see them occasionally in swamp biomes. I don't know of a way to covert the blue slime drops into green slime, that would be nice.

I have the opposite problem. Even after 1.0.1, meteors seem to just pepper the landscape. I've lost count. In addition to meteors, had anyone noticed there seems to be a floating burning slime ball in the sky before a meteor strikes? Is that supposed to represent the meteor in the atmosphere before it impacts?
