Moon vs. Light

For the last few days I have been making my moon base, but am having trouble keeping light up there due to the moon cycle. During the nights I would like my base lit up, but nothing seems to work. I have even used night vision, which is some, but little help to me. What is the best way to light up a base on the moon???

I think that it's impossible to have it lit up. From what I heard Galacticraft mod did some serious stuff to get it be this way xd. They want you to be in the darknesssss!  *BooM*

Yes, this is intentional from the side of the Galacticraft author.

To prevent mob spawning, I recommend a Magnum Torch from Extra Utilities. Clever use of Mob Essence can help against the darkness itself, I think. If you touch it, you'll have a 60-second nightvision buff that should work.

I used nothing but Inverted Lamps for my floors so that there was no way mobs could spawn on them. I think I used at least 15 full stacks of the lamps.

If that is the way you play it, you could just as well have a half-block floor. Mobs won't spawn on half blocks if they occupy the lower half of the block. No proper surface for them to spawn on.

Well, you have to admit an illuminated white floor is pretty dang awesome for a moon base.
