I joined and the spawn was amazing, I love the lighting effect they added when you first join. Plugins seem to be set up good and a few of the members welcoming. After I saw that the server has potential I invited my friends to join me. First two did fine, I had them follow me 3,000 blocks away from the spawn area and we started mining. Most of the landscape seems to be preserved/untouched. When My final friend joined, I tped to spawn with my 3rd tp and was going to escort him to our house. Well there was a person waiting there are spawn with iron armor and a nano helmet, equipped with a sapphire sword. He jumped down and hit me once, I then tried to hit him back in defense along with my friend. My friend and I were both told there was no pvp allowed in this area (spawn) yet our attacker could attack us. Server seems to be an alright server, needs some work. I asked if there were staff on and a few people with partner before their name answered me. Listing rules to me after I asked. There are rules not seen on here or in spawn that they told me. One is not allowed to attack a person with a gold helmet?!? No using pvp protected areas to avoid pvp. My attacker attacked us and we could not fight back! I see now why they spawn camp. If you are a admin you get free food, tools, weapons, armor, etc Because no one can attack you! This server needs work, I am sorry for the negative reply. I am sorry for your bad experience but right now were are on a temp map until we can get the new map up and the people with gold helmets you can attack. Also are Admins do not play in game are mods/sub-admins do and they can't spawn stuff or use god mode. For the spawn protection I do need to fix that and I am doing that right now. I wish to join a good Tekkit server and I think this would be one. Have you played IC2 or Buildcraft? I have played them on tekkit and technic previously and am somewhat familiar with them. What is the purpose of a macerator? A macerator is used to turn ores into 2 dusts which can be smelted into ingots. It can also be used to make dust from ores to make new ores like bronze. Recommendations(If you've been invited): No Other things I should know: I am only 12 and i live in the U.S.A but i am hoping that my age does not affect my chance of getting on the server. It's main purpose is to turn ores into a double amount of dusts, which can be used in making carbon plates, smelting into ingots, and combining to form a new ingot (Bronze) Recommendations(if you been invited): No, I just found this server myself. Others things i should know: The purpose of macerator question can be easily answered by those who don't know, just by scrolling up. I was admin on 4 servers, and mod on several. The fact that this is post-apocalyptic is a huge bonus. Have you played IC2 or buildcraft?:Yes, I am very familiar with both. I have also played with each one installed on vanilla minecraft. what is the purpose of a macerator?: A macerator macerates each ore into two dusts. These two dusts can then be smelted into two ingots/bars. One dust = one ingot. Macerators also turn things such as sandstone or gravel into certain things that are related to the item that is being macerated such as sandstone into sand and gravel into flint. On this category, all a new tekkit player has to do is look at other apps. I have not done this, and to prove that I haven't, I have also said the purpose of a recycler. what is the purpose of a recycler: A recycler can turn things into scrap, which can than speed up the process of a mass-fabricator. What you put in the recycler has a small chance of becoming scrap. I think more valuable items have a higher chance of becoming scrap, although I have not tested this. Recommendations(if you have been invited): No Others things I should know: There are small grammar and spelling mistakes in the app information, such as under "Recommendations(if you been invited):" , it is missing the word "have" (I went ahead and added it) and not all of the categories have colons. I am not trying to be a smart-alec with that last statement, I am just informing you for the good of the server. I am up-to-date and watch all of the Yogscast series (<--- plural), so I know a lot about the different mods in tekkit. I do not raid very often at all, although I may stop and peek in the occasional un-protected and non-hidden chest. If you do not wish for me to do so, please inform me in the message that says I am whitelisted (if I get whitelisted). Thank you for your time, I can not wait to begin on this server. Have you played IC2 or buildcraft? I've used a lot of IC2, and a bit of buildcraft. what is the purpose of a macerator? The macerator grinds down items that are placed inside. Ores become dusts, coal becomes coal dust which is used in solar panels, ect. Recommendations(if you been invited): I've not been recommended by anyone on the server. So I guess what I want to accomplish is earning a lot of money and then spending it! Have you played IC2 or buildcraft?: Yes, I have played with both of these mods on a small server with friends. what is the purpose of a macerator?: The main thing I use it for is to double the output from ore. But it can also be used to make coal dust. Recommendations(if you been invited): none Others things i should know: I usually play for about 2-3 hours a night if something else doesn't come up.
