This updates all of Calclavia's mods to their latest, MUCH more stable versions, and also updates ProjectRED and Mad Science. As always, BACK UP YOUR FILES BEFORE UPGRADING TO THIS VERSION. The server can be downloaded here. To upgrade to this build, select the gear underneath the Voltz Technicpack icon, select either "Always use latest builds" or "Manually select a build", and verify 3.0.0c is the build version in the dropdown box. Please report ANY issues with this build here. If you have error during download, please post in Bug Reports, you may have something on your computer that interrupts it. Does download work fine but when clicking the "Create World" it crashes or turn to white screen? Please provide the log in this thread. Currently, rotary craft, galactic raft, and atomic science houses the only means of energy generation, (unless I'm doing something horribly wrong with resonant induction, but I did exactly what the wiki says). Rotary craft as far as I can tell has no compatibility. Galacticraft only works with itself as well. Atomic science though, does. However, you need power to run the machines necessary to create fuel, no fuel no generation. This means no charging power armor, no missiles, no atomic science, no mad science, etc. This is turning into a rotary craft modpack and becoming less of the good old voltz I'm still holding my position that you should readd mekanism. I see no practical reason for not. It isn't buggy, it's open source, and it's amazing. You can keep rotary craft if you want, but it still lacks basic compatibility. einstein5 Posted March 18, 2014 Share Posted March 18, 2014 3 Really good arguments to bring back mekanism: 1st it is from U.E. , its almos bug free, and Voltz is based on U.E 2nd Many servers would have to reset their maps becaus all tre ores all the processing units and almos all the bases invested a lot of time and resources in getting this materials this might make amny servers not to upgrade to the new voltz versione(including mine , because i made a oppinion vote and all said the don't want a server reset) 3rd it's a really nice made mod and it''s just awsome , you can keep rotary craft but we really would like mekanism ... It really makes voltz feel voltz , not tekkit with the ICBM mod..... So please bring it back ... It's not hard for you to do it and it would really make thinks easyer.... But could you make us a small pleasure : Just make a versione ( 3.0.0.M) where you add mekanism , so that servers can choose what kind of voltz they want to play .... Is it so hard to make us so a small favor? There is enough place for rotary craft and mekanism.... Botha are awsome.. Why in the world isn't working to supply rotary craft stuff with U.E energy..... The bronze and steel in roatary craft is much expensiver in this mod and it makes almost impossible to make an particle accelerator in survival.... I've tryed to charge my power armor in it and it didn't work .... Rotary craft is just not compatible wth E.U.... But you can let it but it makes our lives harder.... At least add mekanism to it. Rotary craft is cool but we need mekanism too.It makes our Voltz experience much easier. However, this still leaves the fact that it is NOT compatible with rotary craft. You have 2 different power systems in one pack, and it just doesn't work. Upon studying rotary craft I found that's it's basically a ripoff of mine factory, except mine factory is more functional (in my opinion). Also, Power armor is still incompatible. There is no way to energize it, survival or creative. Walking around with an inv full of batteries doesn't even work anymore. So, these are my 2 complaints: Make the base machine mod compatible with the rest of the power systems, and make a way to charge power armor. Sylph2 Posted March 24, 2014 Share Posted March 24, 2014 I tried rotarycraft and its very fun stuff, its a totaly different energy system, BUT its not voltz anymore with it. The energy system is so much different then any other mods we seen that you should made a new modpack for it.
