  1. Today is definitely not the day to try doing a new Solder install. Many things are currently broken or in flux.
  2. Hmm. Yeah, looks like major issues are afoot. Guess we'll have to wait it out.
  3. Stop running the old Launcher. Download and run the new Launcher executable.
  4. Indeed. Be well, all!
  5. That modpack link doesn't go to a modpack. This is your API URL: http://www.technicpack.net/api/modpack/jamiedizzle2s-amazing-modpack You have NotEnoughItems, but not the dependency mod CodeChickenCore. Update all your ChickenBones mods for 1.6.4 here (change version from the select box at the top): http://chickenbones.net/Pages/links.html You have TreeCapitator mod but not the dependency mod bspkrsCore: http://www.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/bspkrscore#t1:other-downloads You have Galacticraft and GalacticraftPlanets but not the dependency mod MicdoodleCore. Update all three from here: http://ci.micdoodle8.com/job/Galacticraft/ You have no config files in your modpack. This is always bad and often fatal for 1.6.4 modpacks. This post has more info on including config files (4th bullet point): Fix these issues and come back here if you have more troubles.
  6. You have MicdoodleCore in your mods folder but none of the mods which require it. Why did you add this dependency mod? It is only used by Galacticraft, which is comprised of 3 mod files: Galacticraft, GalacticraftPlanets, MicdoodleCore. Removing MicdoodleCore allowed me to create a world. You have an item conflict between two different items in CFM. Check your ForgeModLoader-client-0.log file for the word CONFLICT.
  7. How exactly would you have us fix that? We didn't make them. If you have a problem with a specific pack, take it up with the pack assembler. People make crappy packs day in and day out. I would venture that only a very small, fractional percentage of packs are built properly and fewer still are well maintained.
  8. Your pack should not contain the folders (or contents thereof) assets, hats, or resourcepacks. Tropicraft is not installed properly. Follow the mod author's instructions.
  9. Looks like an issue with Steve's Dimensional Doors mod. Might have to have your friend edit your player data file (using NBT Explorer is one way) to move you out of whatever location your player is currently occupying.
  10. No, you would use NBT Explorer to edit your player data file.
  11. Unfortunately, that server JAR is covered by the DMCA takedown of all things Bukkit server related. I provided the MD5 sum so you can check against anything you happen to find floating around the internet.
  12. Ugh. I really hosed things up on that 1.8 "fix". Should be working now. Bumped to Forge 1.8 #1273 with my modified version.json file.
  13. Wow, I really messed that up the first time around. Try the BareBonesPack again. Make sure you update the settings to #1273p.
  14. It might just be my ignorance, but I'm not familiar with a MCPC+ #244 build. This is the version I'm using: mcpc-plus-legacy-1.4.7-R1.1-SNAPSHOT-f534-L70.jar MD5 Sum: 96ffb259dc6efbcd06c8eb766af1de3a I believe versions prior to this have a flaw in the way session validation happens which allows someone using a particular hacked client to connect as any user. Every since I updated to that version we never had any more issues of that sort. Even though I believe the flaw to be fixed, I still require any player over the rank of Veteran to use the LoginSecurity Bukkit plugin for a second form of protection.
  15. What server JAR are you using? The Tekkit.jar (basic forge) from the download provided by Techinc? MCPC+? If MCPC+, which build?
  16. The EyeMod JAR should not be in a subfolder inside your mods folder. Orespawn mod should not be extracted. You should leave the ZIP archive unextracted in your mods folder (file from author is named "orespawn-1.7.10-20.2.zip"). You have the 1.7.2 version of DamageIndicators. You should be using the 1.7.10 (3.2.0) version. You have the 1.7.2 version of Lucky Block. You should be using the 1.7.10 (5.1.0) version. Your modpack has no config files in it. This is always bad. After making these changes I created a SSP world. I found iron ore within 30 seconds of tunneling underground and lapis within a couple minutes.
  17. Without specifics (like links to specific packs) or log output (FML logs, crash reports, etc.) it is is impossible to say. Generally speaking, if you are just pulling random packs after searching through the platform it is highly likely you would find many of them broken. A large number of packs are assembled in a manner I would describe as poorly (at best) to fatally horrendous (at worst).
  18. I mean no disrespect, but if you have to ask the question you probably aren't up to setting up and maintaining it. Everything you need to get it working is in the GitHub page.
  19. Not sure why you have two active threads in different forums for the same problem. Here's a response in the other one:
  20. Saw a few different posts by you about this and decided to wade in. Here are my findings: I created a Forge 1.7.10 #1240 server using your pack: Removed MDK-1.7.10-7.1.1.127. This is the developers kit and should not be in the client or server. Removed Numina. This is only used by MMMPS which you neither have in your pack, nor for which there is a working version in 1.7.10. Removed Rei's Minimap. Client-only mod. Set level-type to BIOMESOP in the server.properties file. Started server. I launched your client in my test environment on Forge 1.7.10 #1240 (you have #1230 in your pack). I was able to connect to the server and fly around. Biomes O' Plenty biomes are generating properly and I had no troubles.
  21. Step 1: Downgrade to the latest Java 7 64bit 2014-12-18 14:42:34 [INFO] [ForgeModLoader] Java is Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM, version 1.8.0_25
  22. Glad you are getting some use out of it. I hope that something gets rolled into either the Technic Launcher or Forge itself (whichever is the best/correct place) so that using 1.8 in the Launcher is seamless.
  23. Added Forge 1.7.10 #1264 Added Forge 1.8 #1269p The "p" at the end indicates that the version.json file inside the modpack.jar has been modified to include the three additional libraries required to function through the Launcher.
