    Tekkit guide http://wiki.technicpack.net/A_good_start_in_Tekkit MC forums tend to be filled with babies that stick to the past. Tekkit Classic was the pack most knew 4 years ago. Tekkit Lite sprang up during Mojang's rush with a fuck-ton of updates, meaning that most mod makers had no time to update their work to match the MC version. It was also the time when SSP / SMP conversion happened. Hence the word "lite", as in fewer mods. IC2 was fun back in the day. But it is a dead horse now and considered tedious and grindy by many. Tekkit has Thermal Expansion by KingLemming, which is a much appreciated replacement for IC2

    find some gysahl greens. Farm them find a chocobo. Feed it gysahl greens to tame it. Craft a chocobo saddle and right-click the saddle on the chocobo. now you have a proper mount to travel with if you want a faster one = farm gysahl greens until you get special kind of nut. Feed two nuts to two tamed chocobos and you can get a coloured blue or green chocobo. Green is fast on land and great at climbing 2-block hills. Blue is good on traveling the water

    so, apparently, only mine, holymage, dwwojcik, bytemaster and kocken's profiles gives an error. others work just fine

    we don't delete accounts here. there's no harm in leaving except for the wicked punishment in the fires of hell!! so just go if you want. your account will be left inactive. There are probably hundreds - if not thousands - of accounts on this forum that people never log on through.

Be patient. There's always a few who enjoys teaming up to build a pack. What you need to do now is explain what you want. You say you wanna make a popular pack? Ok, but what kind of? What are you imagining? What kind of pack would you attempt to create? Lay out your dreams and fantasies. bait the hook and see who bites
