  1. Tinkers Construct is an adventure mod. It doesn't belong in a tech pack. That's why it's included in Hexxit.
  2. The Technic Launcher already supports java 8. It is Forge versions for Minecraft 1.6.4 (and probably earlier too) up to 1.7.10-10.13.1.1216 that crash with java 1.8_20+. I'm running a 1.7.10 modpack everyday on Forge 1.7.10-10.13.1.1217+ with java 1.8_25 without any problems. There is a legacy fixer for the vulnerable Forge versions here. You can add it to the mod directory manually and the pack will work on java 1.8. Remember that every modpack update or reset will delete this little mod.
  3. He will update the main post after some testing. 1.9 is extensively tested. 1.11 just got uploaded and it's mainly for shaders.
  4. The answer is simple: SoonTM
  5. Forge for 1.8 is ready... 1.6.4 tekkit is not even remotely an up to date software.
  6. That's one way to do it.. *cough*cheater*cough*
  7. 0,25% chance for yellorite ore with all 8 foci installed. Do the math.
  8. Don't get use to MFR drills for keeping up with your Yellorite demands. It changed in more recent MFR versions.
  9. Because you deleted the modpack.jar, you also moved all mods from the mods directory to the 1.6.4 directory inside mods. Take a step back. The previous version was better.
  10. To figure this one out you need to fix this:
  11. Damn, I always forget to test this setup. Need a BC filler to build the walls.
  12. You need to walk away and come back tomorrow. Take note that the only critical error you made is number 1. After fixing this the pack will load as a modded minecraft
  13. Sorry to hear this.
  14. Agree. This is the best testing area. I strongly advise using also MultiMC and plowmanplows BareBonesPack
  15. It's working... kinda..... Loads vanilla again. 1. The bin directory should only have the modpack.jar file. Not minecraft.jar 2. Your mods/1.6.4 directory contains two CodeChickenLib versions. Remove codechickenlib-universal-1.6.4-1.0.0.62.jar as the other file is requested by other mods. 3. Your mods directory contains one more MacOS specific file (.DS_Store). Remove it. 4. [WARNING] [ForgeModLoader] The copy of Mad Science that you are running is a development version of the mod, and as such may be unstable and/or incomplete. 5. Where did you get development versions of Resonant Induction? You should be searching here 6. [ForgeModLoader] The mod GalacticraftMars has attempted to register an entity ID 171 which is already reserved. This could cause severe problems 7. Where did you get ICBM development version? You should be here in the stable section. 8. Some mods are not in the newest/best/most stable version. Check minecraftforum, curse.com and authors sites for information. 9. Names of some files suggest you didn't get them from official sources mentioned in 8. This is dangerous and can lead to a security breach. Fix it.
  16. It is opening.... vanilla minecraft. Your pack is in a directory called "Pack". This is wrong. Prepare the directories and zip them together (bin, mods and config). Delete all directories from your mods directory. Leave only the 1.6.4 folder with contents. The bin directory should only have the modpack.jar file. Delete the rest. After all this I'll take a look again at the pack and one more thing... no configs? This can be catastrophic for a 1.6.4 pack. Edit: I said it will be catastrophic, here are your ID conflicts: 3972: resonant:multiPart from ResonantEngine - aluminumWire from GalacticraftCore Suggested Ranges: 563-899 (337 IDs), 2856-3119 (264 IDs), 3398-3649 (252 IDs)
  17. You are lost. You should be here
  18. Screenshots or it didn't happen.
  19. You made a modded glowing glass block and then you... made it a multipart modded glowing glass block? Nice.
  20. Be sure to play around with Ars Magica while it lasts.
  21. What type of a crafting bench is used?
  22. Oh. It is updated but it crashes... Lets see the crash report.... Hmm.. Lets google this line... Brought me here and I read that OpenBlocks needs OpenModsLib... that's strange, lets check that in the official OpenBlocks site... So it's true. You have OpenBlocks without OpenModsLib Edit: note that OpenModsLib and OpenBlocks are snapshots so you want both mods from the same time, you can delete your old OpenBlocks and download the newest snapshot for OpenBlocks and OpenModsLib It seems that you also have some unidentified/unofficial version of NEI. Remove it and download the official from here.
  23. Is the platform link updated? If so I'll take a look
  24. Faith in humanity restored...
  25. ofc but this one will generate vanilla logs.. They will be useless.
